i didnt know he was such a newbie at the corner position.
now i feel better about all the negative stuff i have been hearing
about him. if he can go from rb to wr [and kr] and excell at those
and then get moved to corner where he instantly shines, our coaches
are going to make one heck a of a freakin' corner out of him.
i wanted this pic for a couple reasons and he posesses all the traits we
needed. BILL PARCELLS drafted him for ONE reason..........
TO HARRASS RANDY MOSS!! look at what the scouts and nfl guys all said, "he
is a guy that excells at staying on the wr's hip all the way down the field. he
is great at defending the pass and is a redzone shut out".....
no more easy jump balls in the endzone for randy [and t.o.]. no more moss streaking
down the field untouched as smith will be in his hip pocket!!
vontae is tough against the run, is a huge hitter but also excells at getting on the
wr's hip and making the break up, finding the ball over his shoulder and defending the
pass without loosing his man!!
we got the 2 guys with the skill sets we needed against the wr's in our division.
smith is going to be a real good one.
