The OFFICIAL "Start Matt Moore next game" Thread

So what will the thread be when Moore throws 3 picks in a game and we lose only 1 game? THE OFFICIAL "Sign Brady Quinn Thread". People need to get back on their bi-polar medications. You don't bench a 3rd year 1st rd draft pick for a journey-man QB. Moore is a gunslinger and is a pretty damn good QB, but the cards have been dealt and you have to approach this like a business and play your invested draft pick. I really do like Moore and has always been shafted by organizations, but you stick with Tannehill until the ship sinks. Tannehill has looked bad the past two weeks. Off his mark and not hitting his receivers in the right spot, but that being said you don't just bench him for a couple of bad games.

2 weeks in and one bad game and that's the end of everything for the fans. Doom and gloom. I don't see Tannehill as the solution and I lost a lot of confidence in his overall play, but only 2 games have been played.

I can't wait to see Matt Moore cut so I don't have to see these awful topics pop up every other Sunday. He's not an answer to anything... if anything he unbelievably ****ed this franchise out of getting Andrew Luck.

LOL @ the sour grapes.

I think we need to sign Richie Incognito. Perhaps he can bully Tannehill until he slams a lunch tray and leaves. That could be our best hope.

at the same time be sure to tell us again how a Qb going back to college is 1-4 in win or go home postseasons, scoring a total of 24 second half points including a few offensive half and game shutouts, who went 4-12 last season and despite having 3 great receivers went Melt-Mode again is "a winner."

No rookie QB would do well in this franchises fan base.
Eh weren't we extremely supportive of Henne, Tannehill, even Beck for ****'s sake, their first years? For the most part this fanbase is so starved for a good QB again that we are incredibly supportive of these young QBs. But after several seasons the hard truth starts to set in.

Wow. Some are quick to defend Ryan and say Tannehill would be eaten alive by Cincys D. Isn't Tannehill 2-0 against the Bengals? Great pic as always. Simple but gets to the point.

FFS already? This is borderline pathetic. What in the hell makes you think Moore is gonna take the team to the playoffs? His one long bomb a game then 3 picks to follow?

Tannehill, 0-6 on passes of 15 yards or more today.

Dumb. The whole point of this season is to evaluate whether or not Tannehill is worth resigning as a starter. Can't determine that in Week 2 against the best DL in he league.

We already know what Moore is, and he is a QB we KNOW won't win us a playoff game. Absolutely no point in benching Tannehill for Moore at any point in the season. Let him sink or swim

I would not bench Tannehill at this point or at all this year. That being said, people should stop with the "week two" line. It's year three, there was an offseason, Mini Camps, Training camp, Perseason and two games, surely that is enough time for Philbin to know who the better QB is.

Look how much better the redskins were today after RGIII got hurt, funny how the team started clicking. I am not sure that Moore is an answer, but I am feeling like Tannehill probably isn't either.

I'm disappointed in Tannehill, and I think barring a major turnaround we're looking for a new QB in the offseason, but Matt Moore is not a better QB. He's also not the future of the franchise. He's a solid backup and nothing more. This year is Tannehill's time to prove he either is the future of the franchise or he isn't.

I love Moore, I love his toughness, and his ability to make plays. However, he's not a QB you want to build a franchise behind. RT17 may not be as well, but that's plan, and one I support right now. However there's no way anyone knows if RT17 is a bust or a boom type QB yet. It's the 2nd game of his 3rd year and the 2nd game in a new offense.

I'm not really surprised some Miami fans would want to replace a QB so early in their career. Miami is a spoiled fan base when it comes to QB's, or at east it use to be. At this point I'd rather go with a QB that has a higher potential upside than a QB that we know exactly where we will be every year.

If they lose next week to Kansas City it may be Matt Moore time. And anyone who think Kansas City will be a walk over is mistaken. They took Denver down to the wire yesterday. Miami could lose and be 1- 2 after next week. I hate to be around here if that happens.

I wouldn't be saying that Moore is the long term solution here, but Tannehill clearly isn't either and he has more trade value. Dump him for some picks or an impact player and let Moore finish out the year and see what you find in the draft. I really doubt our record will be significantly worse with Moore QB'ing the team.

This isn't madden and how exactly does tannehill have any trade value if he clearly isn't an nfl qb??? Is the scouting ability on finheaven that much ahead of the other 31 teams???

He's currently an NFL starter and teams like the Rams would certainly make that trade. So just let another entire season go by the boards, then in the offseason trade him at a lower value most likely? Nothing's going to happen, I know, we'll have to keep watching this team limp along.
