While the Pats are competing for Super Bowls, we can't get the last wild card spot. They were four games better than us last year, with half their team on the IR. I see nothing so far that's makes me think we are any closer to them. Even the year Brady went down, they finished with 11 wins, same as us that year, wiith Cassel at qb. I will stop worrying about what the Pats do, when we can win the division, not just one game against them every four years.

Thats the beauty of having a team with a solid core. Just need one or two "splash" players to make a Super Bowl run.

Pats have been doing this on a consistent basis for the last decade.

Just get a monster TE and play making WR.

Hence why the Pats are never in cap trouble. Welker got expensive, ship him out and replace him with Edelman. Same player, same skill trait, half the price.
