The problem is Ross.

We have an owner who is trying to turn our franchise into a winner and one who is not afraid to spend the money. I am really surprised that people in S. Florida are ragging on Ross when we have an owner like Loria down here.

It's because of the way he looks and talks. It's just how most ppl are. Most ppl claim to not make judgments off of things like that, but we all do.

I have concerns about Ross, how can you not? But IMO his positives far out weigh his negatives. The main one is he's not Jerry freaking Jones.

and he puts most of his trust in dawn aponte, another non-football person.

Love Ross. Has shown he will spend whatever it takes. He will get it right.

So you want a an owner who people deem "bad" to make a "rash and bad" decision?

I don't care how long this takes. The draft isn't even until MAY! Has anyone ever thought that maybe he's considering someone from the Broncos or the Seahawks?

I'll give Ross ALL THE TIME HE NEEDS to make this hire.

He was RIGHT about Harbaugh regardless of how he went about it. Right about Manning too. There was more at play than him that didn't land those guys.

This hire will define him. Moreso than Philbin.

He HAS to get this right.

Totally disagree Dude. Ross not being able to land Harbaugh or Manning is what defines him, and the Dolphins currently.
"ALL THE TIME HE NEEDS" are you kidding me Dude? What has he done? Bumbled Tony and Ireland with extensions, only to save face, that it is not how it is done in the NFL.
How about a new Stadium which we desperately need? Joe Robbie did it with his own money? Why not Ross? The "Good" teams are doing it...

I am not sure how much of an impact any owner has on whether his team wins a Superbowl. Exhibit A: JERRY JONES.

Jones was thought of as a brilliant genius for helping the Cowboys win THREE Superbowls in the 90's, shortly after he bought the team. Did he all of a suddenly lose his touch or become stupid after winning three rings? NOOOOO. An owner doesn't win or lose SB's....his players and coaching staff decides things.

He may not impact W/L on field directly but he's failed to put key football ppl in charge that should handle that side. If you don't know football, hire someone who does. Also, he's responsible for the current power structure. First u fire the HC & not the GM. Then u fire the GM & then not the coach. He has twice had a chance to completely wipe the slate clean & didn't do it either time. He may be well intentioned but were going in circles. A once proud & respected franchise is now one of the laughing stocks of the NFL. Either ppl avoid us or use us as pawns to drive up their price in contracts elsewhere. And oh btw, in response to Jerry Jones? Robert Kraft.

He's a complete dirtbag, well-known racist, and terrible NFL owner. He almost makes me want to switch teams.

Wasn't Boston one of the last northern strongholds resisting school bussing on racial grounds? Are you a racist? And is that fact well-known? Up there in Boston, wondering how many games you attend or Fins licensed gear you purchase to think that anyone would give a flying **** what you think, let alone the individual who actually shelled out $1.1 billion for the team and an annual organizational payroll in excess of $80million. Maybe you should change teams - cause who needs a mudslinger of spurious bull**** who's talking out of his azz?
