The Question of Ryan Tannehill - Bill Barnwell

where have you showed proof of it? and every word isn't meant to be taken literally, when I say "nobody" it doesn't mean literally not a person b/c excuse makers like yourself always like to have an excuse in their back pocket but the talk on the board was about the impending playoff clincher, Philbin COY, Ryan has arrived, etc... The facts are your Ol played much better the 2nd half but you need excuses for Ryan's play b/c of how you overrate his play from last year.

Same old bullish!t with you. You make numerous posts claiming no one was concerned about the OL after the NE win. You attempt to use that claim as evidence that the OL was "pretty good" in the second half of the season. I provide links to two threads, one titled "How would you fix the o line in the offseason". That thread was from the evening after the Pats game. Same f*cking day as the Pats game. Your response? Same deflecting bullish!t as always.

what thread? I don't see a link.

Look again on page 14. Apparently you responded to the post without reading it....

first link there seem to be positive comments

2nd one is just about improving in the future, nowhere do I see anyone whining about the play at that time.

nice try though.

here's another link, the one to me congratulating you guys after beating NE. nowhere in this thread do I hear anyone complaining about the OL

That graph at the end alone is worth the read. I didn't realize that Tannehill struggled when attacking the middle.

Full disclosure: I'm pretty sure Barnwell hates the Dolphins

I think a lot of people miss that. And attacking is a great word to use. When he has to attack a defense, as in forcing the issue, he does not do well. Defenses often sit back, then move up and make a tackle when we are 3rd and longish. Even if it means a completed pass...just keep the underneath guy in front of you and the ball will most likely come to that guy. They know he does not challenge the defense very well, but just takes what they give him. So they squat on the line to gain and give him a yard or 2 less than the first down and play it safe. Until he proves he can attack, defenses won't need to gamble on him. I guess this is partly where deep balls to Wallace would help, but we need to count on more than that. Some intermediate passes to the middle would make Tannehill more complete and difficult to defend, IMO.

It's becoming apparent he fails to read or think before he posts....too much trolling to do to waste time with that.

before you post stuff like that maybe you should go check out those links?

instead of wasting time hurling insults or calling someone a troll how about just read the posts and discuss in an intelligent manner? the problem is you guys see "Jet fan" and you can't deal with it. reading the posts will help you guys.

At some point you guys will figure out that you can read but don't need to respond to obnoxious antics. Some people thrive on needing to have the last word. Let them. It's not a big deal if they do.

More BS.... What a surprise......

Typical deflect, deny tactics from you.

The second one was talking about fixing the current OL that you claimed "no one was talking about" on the day we beat NE. Several of the posts talked about replacing the exact 4 starters that got replaced. They even mentioned getting a guard and tackle in free agency (Smith, Colledge, Albert) and one each in the first three rounds of the draft (James, Turner).

This is exactly why you should be banned. You made a BS statement , repeatedly. As usual, it was an extreme, contrarian position, that was definitive and absolute and completely made up and passed off as fact. It is an easy argument to defeat because i only need one example to prove it wrong. I don't care if one or two posts in the threads were positive. You claimed "no one was talking about the OL". When called on it and proved wrong, you resort to your usual weasel wording. Typical and, IMO, that makes you unworthy to participate on the board. I'm sure the mods will ignore it but it still feels good to type it.

how about reading instead of the childish attacks? you posted nonsense, show me where everyone was complaining about the OL at that moment in time?

keep deflecting, it sure helps your weak arguments:rolleyes2:

scary how he doesn't have a lot of success attacking the middle of the field. hopefully Jarvis landry helps remedy that.

What's his passer rating throwing to Mike Wallace over the middle of the field vs his passer rating throwing to everyone else over the middle of the field?

I'm dead serious. I'd love to see if anyone has the numbers on that.

lot of int's in the middle, im curious if there is something he isn't seeing coverage wise, or if maybe he does lack anticipation. it would be nice to have access to some other players akin to tanny to compare against. J david wannyheimer I can only remember 2 plays off the top of my head to Wallace in the middle of the field a slant against indy and the td catch before halftime in the second pats game. it would be very interesting to see those numbers if they existed
