The Randy McMichael situation update thread!

RM likes to dress up like a pimp for Halloween, drive around in an '84 Coupe De Ville, & beat his wife...maybe its time to act like a man & grow up.

If not and living "the hood life" is what he's after...why not move to a pathetic, stank ghetto like Buffalo!

Right, cause Miami isn't 100x's worse when it comes to thugs and crime.

as an NFL player you represent the NFL, which is a HUGE multi billion dollar business... they have a right, as laid out in contracts to punish someone who gets in trouble with the law... if the players dont like it they dont have to play in the NFL...

if you work a basic 9-5 job. and are arested for "beating your wife", do you think your boss will be looking for a reason to fire you?

but R. Moss ran over a cop, and nothing really came of that. so who knows.

Didn't Moss run over an old lady also?

At least Randy is "keepin it real" - A well known athelete at the Waffle House? - I guess he was there visiting James Mcknight who was cookin the hashbrowns.

Today has been the roughest day I've seen on this board in terms of an argumentative presence between board members. The harshest in terms of opinionation and subjectiveness.

Have you read any of the AJ vs Frerotte threads?:)

This thread ain't doing so well... oh well, I'll post.

I don't know what's gonna happen to him or what he's going to do about it. The one thing I do want to say is: Who the hell cares?!?! Seriously. Why can't the NFL and everyone else mind their own business.

He didn't begin to beat someone down on the 50 yard line. He did it in his own time. Not saying that what he did was right... But I don't know why the NFL has to try to get involved with everything. :fire:

He hit a pregnant woman. Twice. I care. I dont want to spend my money to see this jackass play. Not many things worse than a woman beater.....cept maybe a pregnant woman beater.

I hope hes gone.

the most McMichael will get is a one game suspension just like Rodgers did only he not only beat his wife, he beat two people

It is me or does anything else think that we should bring in a cheap vet. TE just in case McMicheal is out for more than one game? It's not like we have the most amazing depth at that position and last time I checked our O-cordinator used alot of 2 TE sets in Minny. Last time I checked Chad Lewis was still available.

The cop and female were one and the same that he ran over. If I remember correctly, she was on foot and trying to get Moss to stop. Instead of stopping, he nudged her out of the way with his vehicle.

Exactly! Like it or not players are heros to kids, they look up to them. Its part of being a professional athlete. These guys probably didn't ask to be role models for our kids, but in reality, they are. The NFL has too keep up a certain image as does any buisness. They have a right to punish their employees as they see fit.
However, they shouldn't punish him until he is ajudicated.

Maybe a couple game suspension will wake Randy up????

What is it about these overpaid athletes that makes them think they are above the law and can drive 110 MPH on the Interstate or drink and drive or beat the wives.....fine and suspend them......the people who want the Dolphins to win no matter who is on their team are just clueless....I want us to win but not if we are going to carry thugs on this team.

Do you have a link that says he beat her? She's not pregnant anymore either. Would it hurt to just wait and see what the law says before jumping to conclusions?

if you or i did something like this and our employers found out, wouldn't their be some kind of repercussions?

If a doctor beat his wife... would he lose his doctor licensce be suspended? No...
Do I think the NFL should suspend him? No...
Do I think Saban should suspend him for 1 or 2 games? Yes...

Nasty

Last I heard he was **accused** of hitting a pregnant woman. Innocent until proven guilty, and all that... I'll reserve judgement since neither I, nor any of you, have *all* of the facts about what happened in either situation. That is, unless one of you actually IS Randy or Kawanna McMichael or was present as an eye-witness for the events in question. If so, by all means speak up. :-)

..........alright enough's enough.......this board is being flooded with Randy crap that could be condensed into one thread. Here ya go.......anything you've got to say about Randy and his situation say it here....... no need to create 30 other threads........use this one for God sakes.

Hmmm...so starting another Randy thread would pretty much push him over the edge wouldn't it?
