Isn't "eating crow" when you make a prediction that didn't come true?
 
Football just came back four days ago! The season doesn't start for about a month and a half. Let's not overreact JUST yet! :)

I was thinking the same thing. TB has in excess of $56M under the cap and haven't done a thing. We've been one of the most active teams since the offseason began. We were players in both top RBs, but smartly bowed out when the asking price got ridiculous. D Williams wanted to stay in Carolina, so it would've taken a Lochness monster of a contract to sway him to Miami - No thanks. I'm fine with Daniel Thomas and Reggie Bush.

I think we're good at every position but QB (competition for Henne) and some depth along the OLine. I wouldn't want us paying high prices (draft picks and insane guaranteed $) just to say we did, when we don't need it.

Garbage last year??? I guess Bess was garbage too last season since both Bess and Chads numbers are almost the same:err:

Chad...14 games...831 yards receiving...67 receptions
Bess....16 games...820 yards receiving...79 receptions

as for the year before Chad had 1047 yards and 9 tds
and you consider this garbage for most of the season:ponder:

Everyone has good points but I expected more from our FO they bark and dont bite maybe i can will eat my words later i hope i do.... Zach Miller would be great too let see whats next.....
 
i have patience but when you see the pats getting chad, and albert. the jets trying to get nmandi whatever his name is, and all we have so far is reggie bush, there is something wrong with that picture, we need to add some big names, and i am not talking about the players the cowboys cut

Yes and let me guess, you'd be the first to complain if the Fins gave Denver the 2nd round pick they want for Orton, right??

While I want the Dolphins to be aggressive in FA, I want them to be smart too and bring in players that will help us. New England is not a team I'd use as an example for something positive in FA.

How do you know that the Fins didn't try and go after Olsen? Maybe Carolina gave up more then what we were willing to do? I think I just read they traded a player and a pick for him.

Some people cannot help themselves but complain about each and everything the team does or doesn't do.

Didn't know that it was Friday yet. So you want us to spend 15 million on a corner? You want us to overpaid for big names that may not fit? Lol jeez

- Pats getting Chad, you think this is a good thing???
- Pats getting Albert, I'm not even going to comment on this because he's been a pain and did not want to be part of a 3-4 and we don't need DL or NT help. Especially at his salary.
- Jets trying to get Nnamdi. Come on man, I LOVE Nanmdi and it would be great to have him but do you really want one single player accounting 12-14 mil a year against our cap???

If we had singed a bunch of free agents there would be endless threads about how we should built through the draft.......:crazy:

hell no i wouldn't give up a 2nd for orton, but they could have given low round picks one this year and another next year.

I am just frustrated that our division just got a little tougher. the positive zach miller is still out there, also a handful of wr's. i just hope they do get one of these qb's that get cut if not the season is a waste

I would says that when your #1 receiver has comparable numbers to a number 3 receiver it is not good. I don't know why you compare these two.

Bess is a slot WR, not supposed to have more catches than a # 1

Season is a waste already? Good to know. Zach Miller is not coming. He is getting a huge deal.
