im pretty content about the team being 3-1. lots of mistakes but then again the saints are a better team with their coach back and rob ryan. my opinion, brees is the best QB (manning gets too many highlights) the fins were hannging in so they werent getting blown out as some predicted. the schedule gets more easier. take care of the ravens at home and go 4-1 into the bye which is pretty good.

Until we can prove that the Saints loss was a fluke the hard part is just beginning.

Agreed heinegrabber...our troubles are just beginning...i hope i'm wrong.
anyway, love that ideal bottom in ur avatar..i should be called heinebiter lol

Agreed. A lot of bad things shone through last night... Sunday can't come soon enough.

I don't know if you can say that. This year some good teams are bad, Giants-Steelers, and some bad teams look to be playing better at times than everybody thought. Bills, Jets, Chiefs.

Missed the point we were 3-0 because we hid our weaknesses. Now the cat is seriously out of the bag.

i love that avatar too :)

I said at times. They are both 2-2. Both have good defenses, and the Bills have some very good offensive pieces.

I don't agree with that. Pats get Gronk back. Bengals, Chargers, Panthers, and Ravens are no push overs. After the perfromance last night I don't see how we beat the Pats either time we play them. Even the Bills are capable of winning, especially at that cold game on 12/22. The Steelers look awful but we play them in Pittsburgh. I'm not comfortable with calling that one a win either.

I predicted 7 to 9 wins before the season started and I'm still sticking to that prediction. Maybe they make it to 10 wins but they aren't making the playoffs at 10 wins.

We're a young team that has earned their 3-1 record but still has some growing to do. You just have to pray that Ireland can rework the offensive line for the 1452nd time and find some back up LBers that aren't complete liabilities come this off-season.

We hung in for almost a half, but make no mistake, we got blown out.

I think they learn from last nights mistakes and are still a solid mid-tier team this season which is WAY better than they have been in the past. RT needs to learn to not run head first and protect the ball. If not for turnovers we were in the game much longer and could have made it interesting. One other thing...our best DLineman Wake (maybe best defensive player) did not even suit up.

It is not a SB year in the making but it is progress...I expect a nice bounce back game against the Ravens. If they lose but play them close...it is still not the end of the world

The Miami Dolphins have been a mediocre team and are now making the jump to good. That is not enough to go on the road and beat an elite team. But look at our last 12 games -- how many elite teams do you see left on our schedule? Baltimore just got beat by a Buffalo team that turned the ball over 6 times! The only game I see us being a clear underdog is October 27 at New England, but even so, they just lost the best player on their defense. Granted, we need to get some guys healthy and fix several recurring issues, but we're through the worst part of our schedule and have a healthier margin for error from this point forward.

Unless JP can fix problems we have had for over a decade nothing has changed.

Nobody hid weaknesses. Everyone watching knew what they were. We were just good enough to overcome them until this week when we played on the road against one of the two best teams in the NFC.
