the worst part of the schedule is over

The Ravens play their best game of the year on Sunday.

People shouldn't be surprised, this is a powerhouse team, on their home field, on national television... We'll clean it up this week and game up for Baltimore, theirs gonna be those games like last night, all u can do now is put your head down and have faith they'll find a way to win next week. This is still a new regime, +it's a long season, patience/ & a level headed demeanor has to present.

I think they did that a few weeks ago when they slaughtered the Texans.....This is a road game for them and they are 0-2 on the road. If the Dolphins take care of the ball I think they can win this game.

The only thing that really bothered me last night was how decisive the victory was for the Saints. I honestly didn't expect the Dolphins to win but I was really hoping for a closer game. They are just not ready to be on the same level of teams like New Orleans, Seattle and Denver, but they are moving in the right direction.

If you had told me before the season that the Dolphins would be 3-1 after 4 games with the schedule they had, I would have taken it in a heartbeat. If they can beat Baltimore on Sunday and head into the bye at 4-1, that bodes well for the rest of the season.

I agree. This game will be really, really tough to win. The Ravens are a well coached team and they will play much better than they did against the Bills.

Miami needs to correct mistakes and Ryan needs to stop turning the ball over, otherwise we will not win this one. I'm looking forward to see how the team responds after last night. This is the game where the Dolphins can really make a statement and move to 4-1 with a 3-0 conference record. That would be HUGE, but it won't be easy.

Oh, it's not going to be easy. It is NEVER easy in the NFL. But I definitely think this was the toughest part of the schedule right here.

On the road for the second straight week @ Indy - good home team, playoff team. Vs Atlanta, they are 1-3 but look at their losses -- 3 close losses to teams with a combined record of 11-1, @ New Orleans on Monday Night - I circled this one as the worst game on the schedule with red underlines before the season, and now at home vs the defending Super Bowl champs, still a dangerous team.

We come out of here at 4-1 we are sitting pretty. Cincinnati is not New Orleans. The Patriots are good, they are tough, but we get one of those games at home. The Chargers game is in Miami, which evens it up a little as west coast teams don't travel well for EST afternoon games.

Big game next week, gotta bounce back and make sure this loss doesn't stay with us.
Tell that to the Eagles. The Chargers went there earlier this year and shredded that defense. I'm not saying the same thing is going to happen when we play them, but I wouldn't bank on them being off their game just because it's an early start for them.

I think the Chargers are just a far superior team to the Eagles. When I talk about those early game starts for west coast teams, I'm looking at the historical trend. You saw it last year when a struggling, sub .500 Dolphins team beat a very good Seahawks team in those circumstances. Likewise, we crushed the Raiders.

Chargers are a very solid team right now, but I don't look at that game and think "Wow, we're ****ed." I look at that game and think "We have a good chance to beat a strong team here."

I thought we would go into the break at 3-2 we have a good chance of being 4-1.....I'll take that any day of the week.....I'm ok with what happened last night, think about it, we went against one of the top 5 teams in the league in their building on Monday night......not an easy task, sometimes a good butt whooping helps, hopefully we learned something about that game and can use it against the Pats......

Every team has weaknesses, even the Broncos. Some teams look like steam rolling trains out of control for a couple of weeks then a coordinator finds a weakness and exploits it to such a degree the team resembles an electric model train.

Even the Broncos will be exploited this year. If you want to worship a team and blindly believe all they do is great, you will find nothing wrong. San Fran looks like Jacksonville at times this year. I don't think they got that bad overnight. They have been exploited and need to rethink some things.

We were without Wake and we've been dealing with Patterson out for a while and were able to mask it. The Saints have the WRs, QB and Offense to exploit the holes on D we had last night.

Our Offense is a separate issue. But that just means its time for the Coaches and Players to adapt, get better and learn from it.

Every team in the NFL goes through this. Champions overcome it. We are still a young team with a young QB. And a lot of free agents. It's not an excuse but it is a grounding thought to realize why Drew Brees is elite and RT is still developing. Midseason is always when you find out just how good your current roster can become.

No need to panic. We are 3-1 and our only loss is to an NFC opponent who has an Elite QB and Offense. We've beaten one of our main opponents for the Wildcard race and still have our entire division schedule ahead of us. Beating Baltimore is a very critical playoff game this week. If we beat them and handle the division, we are sitting pretty for the playoffs. Which is our goal for this year, remember?

i'd rather the Saints expose us than New England. It's all good ladies. :)

I'm certainly not going to freak out about being 3-1 a quarter through our schedule. I remember some folks around here thinking we'd be lucky to come out 2-3 through the Ravens game. We beat Indy on the road and all of a sudden expectations changed. This is a team with flaws. This is also a team that is developing. The playoffs seemed a realistic goal when the season started, and it still seems a reasonable goal this morning.

Missed the point we were 3-0 because we hid our weaknesses. Now the cat is seriously out of the bag.

Every team in the league has weaknesses especially early in the season.,nothing like over reacting.

Nobody hid weaknesses. Everyone watching knew what they were. We were just good enough to overcome them until this week when we played on the road against one of the two best teams in the NFC.

Spot on...

My concerns are the obvious with regards to the scheme on defense and the inabilities of the offensive line. These issues can't continue, IF the Dolphins are to move forward and have a winning record this year. It's never easy on any given Sunday as we all know, but, Miami can't sustain it's early success without improvements in both these areas. The defensive scheme has been odd especially these last 2 games. They seem to play much better when they just play man on man along the line, the slashing and stunting and splitting the gap has been a detriment to the defense. Maybe it's the unusual but highly successful offense of New Orleans, that made things look much worse than they really are on defense? But to allow 350+ yards per game is unacceptable and will eventually turn into more losses than wins. Those who've fooled themselves on Jonathan Martin and his play at LT, have to open their eyes to see, how bad he really is. The constant pressure and constant lapses are killing the offense as a whole. Again this is unacceptable. I'd love to think things will get easier, but have been seriously worried about a collapse because of the seemingly leaky defense and o-line. Yes it's true Miami pulled out 3 early victories, but when you analysis things closely it's hard not to be concerned with how things were exposed against the Saints. I'm hopeful of continued success, because another obvious is the skill position players on offense are much better than in many years prior in Miami and the defensive line is much better than they've played so far and can help make things right with improved play.
