Shame old Joe wont be giving his superb un-biased professional opinion on Ricky on MNF this season wont it?!?
I know im biased cos im a Fin fan but you would think Theismann would be a bit more tactise with his views. I reckon it's maybe because he knows he wont have to comment on Ricky at a Fins game this season on MNF. I hope Ricky rams those views right down the Madden wannabe's throat and proves him wrong.

ROFL! Does he realize the amount of players who likely smoke weed in the NFL?? Must be something like 70% imo.. Ok 70 is probably the NBA.. Id say 55% for the NFL.

Not saying they smoke it on game days, but I am quite sure a good many of them smoke during the offseason or out partying... I doubt Ricky smoked on gamedays either, and if he did, it certainly never affected his game.. If it did, man, Ricky must be the 2nd coming of Jim Brown without marijuana impairment.

Theismann sounds a little bitter.

...in fact, he always sounds a little bitter about things since LT busted him up (no pun intended). He acts like people should bow and feel sorry for him.

Im rapidly going off this guy. Used to think he was average as commentator but his stock has just lowered with me. Hes just spouting off using words like "addict". He needs to know the facts before he gives his views.I think he needs to keep his comments to himself.

Theismann the idiot is ranting again. Coming off as a hypermoralistic stooge. Will he have the stones to admit he is wrong if/when Ricky completes the year with close to a 1000 yds and a 200 yd game or two in the playoffs (I Hope). He must think he's a real big shot now that he got the MNF gig with Michaels.

Wasn't he accused of abusing Cathy Lee Crosby (A smokin Hottie I might add)?

Listen to Theisman even when he is announcing...all he does is whine whine whine. He is a terrible announcer and his opinion is worthless.

I think it is funny how Joe has said that Ricky probably has a drug addiction problem.

Marijuana might be the hardest drug to get addicted to (lets not have the marijuana discussion), it is probably easier to have an addicition to alcohol than it is reefer. The last thing I would fear as a Fin Fan would be Ricky getting addicted to weed.

theisman was a subpar QB who had a great line and RB and a hall of fame coach, i could have won the bowl with the skins, he is not the voice of reason

You must not watch Sunday night football..............that guy never has anything bad to say about ANYONE. Every player is a future pro bowler in his opinion!! He even pumped up Jay Fiedler when he played on SNF.

Alcohol is more addicting and socially destructive. Theismann is an ignoramus.

it didnt really sound like he was ripping in to him that bad.

i dont think the NFL should "bend over backwards" to get him back in the NFL.

he is comming back for the money, and not for "the love of the game".

and no sports organization likes it when their star players are arrested, or test positive for drugs.

If Joe is so sick of hearing about RW why is bothering to slam him?

who gives a crap why he is coming back. You don't need a "love of the game" as a requirement to be in the NFL. You need to be skilled and get the job done. Edge doesn't have a love of the game in Indy and he makes no secrets of that. I sure as heck don't go to work everyday because I have a "love for my 'game' ". I go because I need to pay my bills and want nice things. So long as I show up, don't cause trouble, and perform good that's all the company asks.
