Theismann rips into Ricky

i know, because when he retired he said, "i do not want to play football any more".

and hes not just coming back for the money. hes comming back to try and pay the 8 million dollars to the dolphins organization. to me, thats a strange situation all to its self.

It's like telling one of your friends that his girl is bad news for him when he's in love with her. There's no reasoning with him, welcome to the Ricky homers.

What does it tell you about Theismann in that he changed the original pronunciation of his last name from THEEESMAN to Theismann to rhyme with Heisman (as in trophy), which he came in 2nd in the voting for. The guy is such a pompous a**...I can`t stand listening to him (or that Buffalo Bill homer Paul McGuire) and MNF is going to suck with him on it.

I CAN'T BELIEVE no one has cracked back on Theismann for being a hypocrite. His OWN SON is a freaking drug addict... on crack-cocaine, no less, which is a much harder and more addicting drug than weed. Has he disowned his son? Nooooooo... he bailed him out and stuck up for him. He patted him on the head, gave him a Lifesaver, and told him to buck up little camper.

His own kid went to jail because of drugs. That's the first thing I thought of when I read what he said about Ricky. For a guy with a skeleton in his closet like that, he really should not be putting himself out there like that.

For those that don't know, Theismann lives in (well, outside of) Memphis. I know people who know him. It has been rumored down there that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, if you know what I mean, in terms of his son's addiction to crack. Theismann is the LAST PERSON IN THE WORLD who should have an opinion on this, and again, I can't believe no one has mentioned this.
