Theoretical question...

I would rather see us sweep our division oponents. I hate all three of those teams and a win against any of them is worth an entire season as far as I am concerned

You sound like a JETS fan

6-10, even if we finish dead last in the division no one would talk crap because we swept them all. It would also give us a better pick in the draft.

Now why would you go saying a thing like that to a fellow Dolphins fan? I am just posing a question and trying to start a conversation on where our prioritys stand, winning more games with the same result or getting some big wins against our most hated rivals. Then, mabey you are a Jets fan... Or mabey you were being sarcastic and the sleep depravation is getting to me, in which case,

My thoughts exactly

6-10 so we would get a better draft pick.
The draft pick is a nice addition but I would take the 6-10 just because we established dominance over the three teams we hate most

I would take 10-6 which means we probably finish 2nd in the divison and still pick at 19 or 20 in the draft

and then we can land Laron Landry who Saban knows very well and who is a very good safety

This is a tough one. The hardest part last year for me was getting beaten by the Bills and Jets twice. I'll have to think about this one for awhile.

6-10 because we would have bragging rights in the division, and we would have a higher draft pick. Who the hell would wanna go 10-6,lose to all your division rivals, miss the playoffs, and have a pick in the 20's?

Lets say we had a choice; we could go 10-6 this year and miss the playoffs via tiebreaker, or we could go 6-10 and sweep all of our divisional oponents...
I cant see us sweeping our division rivals then not winning against another team. AFC East is too strong. If we beat bills, patriots and Jets and no one else weve got problems.

As much as I hate losing to the teams in the division, I like knowing there hope to win week in and week out, To me bragging rights don't mean a whole hell of a lot if you don't make the playoffs.

A good example was in JJ's first year, the Fins swept the Bills for the first time in years, I really didn't care much because the Fins were out of the playoffs. Sure it was a nice consolation prize but again I would have rather taken the loss to the Bills and made the playoffs.

I really don't see how if you went 6-10 you would have much to brag about, so you beat the other teams in the division, yet they most likely wound up with a better overall record and possibly the playoffs.

How many times did the Fins have a better team then the Jets, yet the Jets always seemed to find a way to win. While it was very annoying I never worried that they had bragging rights when the Fins were going to the playoffs every year while the Jets were planning their #1 draft pick.

Another Good example would have been say the Fins one both games against the Pats last year, so your saying that Fin fans could go around bragging that their team swept the Pats and yet the Pats won the SB, trust me I would take a season where the Fins were swept by every team in the division if they won the SB in the end.
