We are less than a week away and i cant be any more excited!!!! No matter what happens we all know Saban is going to pick up a GREAT player no matter what Position he plays or what pick we got him in. But I do have a theory: I think Saban wants Tampa Bay to trade up 3 spots for Smith, which then might cause a DOMINO effect making Minnesotta trade up with the Fins new #5 pick and giving us their #7. Remember the Vikings got rid of Moss to get that #7 and take one of the big 2 WR's.....well as time went on Braylon and Mike have been moving up the draft boards and neither of them might get past #6 to the Titans. Hopefully we make everyone in the top 10 nervous and we use it to our advantage. At #7 we can still find one of the 3 RB's, maybe a top WR,Possibly The BEST Defensive player, or worst case scenario the best OL on the board. That doesn't seem so bad, right?
Hey, remember that the Vikings these past two years have been the joke of the draft. Remember that they were LATE turning in the name of the player they want for 2 straight years, making them move further down in the draft. They can easily get Nervous that one of the big 2 WR's will fall off the board before either of them gets to #7. The Vikings NEED a WR, and if we end up with that 5th pick and there's only one WR left MINNY will need to pull the trigger.
I dont have a problem with #7....as long as we're in the top 10 we're good. And don't forget all the 2nd rounders and 3rd rounders we've accumulated if we do those trades with TB and Minny.

BUT IF WE DO PICK AT # 2 OVERALL . . .

Havent you made this thread before?

I keep adding to it.... i want every one to send me cool pictures of the player they want so that we can have a COOL prospect gallery

Thanks for the videos. Ronnie is a Freak, I hope we get him. With Tampa's 5th spot would be nice.:beerbang:

i don't like your options.... why does everything have to be BPA? for instance, the #1 overall pick could go QB, RB, or WR... the "BPA" tag will change players depending on WHO picks first. i can't confidently say i want us to go BPA - for instance if the BPA is a DB or DE, i don't want him. I think we need (pretty bad) a QB or RB....

You've posted this monsterous post four times already. Once was enough.

The reason it should be BPA is when you reach to get need, you end up with Flecther, Avery, Y. Green to name a few, if there's talent there and it's the best of the best, reguardless of position, get him, I don't believe the 2 QB's are the best, but if our team gets one, I will support him. I like the WR, then 3 RB's, and Spears.

Yatil Green was not a "reach". He was a 6'2" receiver with 4.3-4.4 speed and was projected to be drafted among the 1st 20 picks. He blew his knee out and it was so severe that he needed a cadaveric graft. Unfortunately it never healed properly and it blew out again. He was never the same player after that.
