There Is Only ONE Phin's Savior in 2014

Yes I support the guy who has more playoff wins than your franchise since 1995, the guy who has the most playoff wins in Jets history. I realize there were a million different things wrong w/ our team in his lone bad season of 2012. I saw a guy in Eli manning who had top 10 weapons to throw to have a much worse season than Mark 2012. mark helped us win a lot games, play in a lot of big games. Was he great? Nope but he was a guy we could win with which is something Ryan needs to prove he is for you guys.

someone telling me how great Ryan Tannehill was is talking about credibility?

You sound like a little girl talking about the rise and fall of the latest boy band....

show me where I said Tannehill was great.

95.5 passer rating is a really good game, maybe not great but really good. It would have been 108 PR without the pick which is fantastic and the pick was as much Sherman's fault as anybody's, their D/Polumalu seemed to know the play, Polumalu hid presnap and went exactly where the ball would be thrown. I'm not taking anything away from them but it's ridiculous our offense was so easy to set up and that's the reason Sherman is looking for work right now.

actually polamalu was in the b gap at the los presnap and tannehill saw it and the protection was ready to account for it cause of this and after the snap polo dropped into a soft zone in the middle of the field and continued across following the qbs eyes undercutting the ball...two things though really happened the qb took for granted that polo was coming and not gonna drop out thus he eye banged the single coverage wr on the other side hartline running the route to the what presnap reads as a empty center of the field and and tannehill had to hold it for a half second longer than he wanted to which you can see watching it cause hartline ran a crappy in cutting route and took a while to actually win on it where he could possibly fit it in out front...

imo that's mostly a presnap read biting us in the ass than anything else...and given the timing we wanted the ball to come out in was gone a int as a result...

you are making excuses for why you choked and excusing his poor play which was reason #1.

Dude, you were doing so well until you brought Sanchez into it.

Once you do that, you become a happy adjuster yourself.

I will always defend hi, I will always defend what I believe is right. was he great? of course not, was he ever going to be great? no but it is hard to win in January and we have a QB that can(though not for long). You don't win 4 road playoff games over 2 seasons w/ poor QB play. He was awful in 2012 w/ the worst skill talent in the league and Sparano running the O w/ Tebow to distract and each year the talent around him got worse after 2010. If we surrounded him w/ more talent Geno never would have been a Jet. Some other team will benefit for our stupidity.

So is Atlanta drafting a QB this year? Matt Ryan sucks, right?

Matt Ryan has helped his team reach the postseason 4 times in 6 years. he gets a little rope, Ryan has prevented Miami from going.

See your paragraph below..... :sidelol:

Sally, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch are not getting back together.

Boo hoo hoo..... Marky Mark WASN'T a bad QB.... do you stomp your feet and whine like a girl when you type that crap?

Let me see if I can explain how historically huge a joke buttfumble has become.

HE RAN INTO HIS LINEMAN'S BUTT!!!!!!!!. but, he didn't just run into his lineman's butt......

HE RAN INTO HIS LINEMAN'S BUTT AND FUMBLED THE BALL!!!!!, but, he didn't just run into his lineman's butt and fumble the ball......

HE RAN INTO HIS LINEMAN'S BUTT AND FUMBLED THE BALL AND IT WAS RECOVERED BY THE OTHER TEAM!!!!!! , but, he didn't just run into his lineman's butt and fumble the ball and have it recovered by the other team......

HE RAN INTO HIS LINEMAN'S BUTT AND FUMBLED THE BALL AND IT WAS RECOVERED BY THE OTHER TEAM AND IT WAS RETURNED FOR A TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!, but, he didn't just run into his lineman's butt and fumble the ball and have it recovered by the other team and have it returned for a touchdown......

HE RAN INTO HIS LINEMAN'S BUTT AND FUMBLED THE BALL AND IT WAS RECOVERED BY THE OTHER TEAM AND IT WAS RETURNED FOR A TOUCHDOWN AND IT WAS AGAINST THE RIVAL NE PATRIOTS!!!!!!, but, he didn't just run into his lineman's butt and fumble the ball and have it recovered by the other team and have it returned for a touchdown by the rival NE Patriots......

HE RAN INTO HIS LINEMAN'S BUTT AND FUMBLED THE BALL AND IT WAS RECOVERED BY THE OTHER TEAM AND IT WAS RETURNED FOR A TOUCHDOWN AND IT WAS AGAINST THE RIVAL NE PATRIOTS ON A NATIONALLY TELEVISED THANKSGIVING DAY GAME!!!!!!, but, he didn't just run into his lineman's butt and fumble the ball and have it recovered by the other team and have it returned for a touchdown by the rival NE Patriots on a nationally televised Thanksgiving Day game......

and he has 4 more playoff wins than the Miami Dolphins have from 1995-2013. I will take a buttfumble w/ that.

he was far from great at Pitt, he was why Pitt had a chance. He was great against NE though but w/ the season on the line needing 1 win in 2 tries against 2 non playoff bound teams he led his O to 7 total points.

20 for 33 for 200 yards 3 TD 1 INT..... 3 rushes for 56 yards, not "great" in terms of yards but made the plays to win

I know its no buttfumble performance vs the Chargers in the playoffs

And again, the season was on the line ever since the game in NY when they won and then won their next 2, just because the media doesn't say the season was on the line, it was, if they lost any of those games the last 2 likely would not have mattered for anything

also I did not write "buttfumble" I wrote "mark sanchez", does the site automatically convert that?

Those are just #s, a huge play that kept Pitt in the game was the INT for a TD and on the biggest drive he did very little to help them score the go ahead pts.

mark at SD was better, he had no awful plays like the INT for TD and he made some key throws to help the Jets win on the road against the hottest team in the AFC in the div rd. A little different than an early Dec game on the road against a team not playoff bound.

The season wasn't on the line at that point, it was week 17 and he failed.

So is Atlanta drafting a QB this year? Matt Ryan sucks, right?

He's actually severely overrated, which for the Falcons, is much worse, because they will need to continue to overpay him, and continue to see him underwhelm when the reason for his amazing play (the talent around him) is not there, or he reaches the playoffs...they're stuck with him.

#s tell part of the story.

His #s from this season look good but when you look at how he actually played he held you back. At Pitt he threw a huge pick 6 and the "game winning drive" was handing it off for a near 60 yd run and throwing a dump off and watching Clay break 4 tackles for the TD.

Pit'ss D was not great anyway by the way.

I'd have been happy if my team won, I wouldn't pretend the QB had a great game.

It's funny how you claim Miami's defense won them 6 of the 8 games they came ahead in but when they gave up 3 TDs to Roethlisberger and almost lost the game on the last play of the game, Tannehill doesn't get credit for his 3 TD day and last TD that was the game-winner. To you he gets no credit because Clay broke tackles to get the score. The logic behind that, while typical of a nutjob like you, is beyond comprehension for most people who don't spend hours on end looking for reasons to discredit a player on a team.

The site does automatically change Mark Sanchez's name

The game winning drive metric is over used..

It's not a singular person who wins the game. The media just makes it seem it's all qb.

Imagine the head scratching when the people doing it are supposedly fans of the team.....

The site does automatically change Mark buttfumble's name

you act like Ben has never led his Os to 3 TDs before. Ryan threw an INT for a TD in that game, after the RB ran near 60 yds and set up the go ahead TD for Miami the D got a 4 and out and set up the last FG for Miami. They ALMOST lost ion the last play but didn't and the reason they had a chance was b/c of Ryan.

You can hurl childish insults all you want but it doesn't help your always weak arguments.

I like you Roy, I think you are a good poster and good fan but you put way too much stock in passer rating.

Your D made the ciritical stop after Miami took the lead, your D overcame the O giving away 7 pts.

The stats guard against "selective memory," which is whats happening here. You seem to only recall the pick six and Roethlisberger playing poorly his last two possessions and now -- bad QB vs bad QB -- is imprinted on your mind. Don't take this as an insult as "selective memory" is a common human fault, that's why the stats are important.

Bash Tannehill all you want when he plays like **** for all I care but HE DID NOT PLAY BAD IN THAT PITTSBURGH GAME!!!
