I think we will be alright with or without Ricky....Wanny unfortunately had no "plan B" when Ricky screwd us over...he put about 50% of the offense on Ricky's back....Saban won't make that mistake. If Ricky makes the team he won't be more than maybe 10-15% of the offense at most....maybe 10-15 plays out of about 60-75 the team has during a game. I say lets wait and see if Ricky can get into football shape, and secondly whether he really wants to come back and play....IF NOT, we have Ronnie Brown and what should be a better passing game, and hopefully a better defense. My main concern is with our Center position and O-Line, but everywhere else we seem solid with maybe the exception of needing another d-back.

I agree with your assessment Roman, but I can't help think it's a big risk for Saban, especially if he plans on only minimal useage of RW.JMO

Moved here from Ft. Lauderdale 2 years ago. My daughter attends Bishop Moore HS in College Park. I was a season ticket holder for 10 years and lived 5 minutes from training camp. Boy do I miss driving to camp and to the games on Sunday. Direct TV is the closest I get these days. However, I do have tix for the Oct 16th game up here in Tampa and I can't wait.
One of the things I don't like up here is that the Phins are 3rd fiddle to the Bucs and Jags and the local sports talk shows don't give the phins much respect.
 
Ricky might go down as being the best hippie to ever play football.
 
At the very least, Ricky can be Ronnie's personal yoga instructor. Thats where true champions are made.

What happened to the fact that he quit because he didn't like his contract and wanted a new one? What happened to the fact that he quit because he didn't like the new OC? What happened to the fact that he quit because he didn't have a passion for the game anymore? What happened to the fact that he failed another drug test and didn't want to deal with the consequences? Why do we only focus on the "reason" he left was because he was overworked and he did it for his health? I think if you are going to consider the reason in the post, you must consider the other reasons also.

Great point, PHINATIC13. Does anyone else think this is a HUGE risk for Saban? What if it does divide the locker room? What if there is animosity? What if it becomes a distraction? Doesn't this cost him some respect in the locker room? I think he has done a GREAT job up to this point impressing people and gaining their respect. I haven't heard a negative word said about him by his players. They all seem to be buying into his system. But doesn't he lose some credibility if it fails? And yes, he gains enormous respect if it succeeds. But it just seems a big risk to me, especially for a new head coach.

I keep moving closer to them!!! I started in southern Georgia, then north Florida, noth central Florida, and now Orlando! As far as Bishop Moore they got a good coach from TFA in Coach Salappa.
 
You guys think that maybe if Ricky comes back we can switch Ronnie Brown to WR. Ricky and Gordon and KJ can be our RBs ans since Brown had great hands in College, he would make an excellent WR. Then, we can move Chambers to CB and therefore Daniels could play FS. We would have Boston, Booker, and Brown as our WR corps, the 3 B's Yo! You couldnt cover Boston and Brown, they would be too physical for CBs.

Chambers already has great speed and leaping ability and could play opposite of Madison. Then we can cut Reggie Howard, he stinks. Peeee-yewww.

Daniels could then play FS and we can have all our holes filled..... as long as Ricky comes back.
