Think about this scenario, Denver would like to have ricky correct? Knowing the dolphins would not give up ricky for....I dont know....lets just say anything less than a 2nd draft pick, somewhere along the lines of all this comotion, somebody leaks out a lie saying "RICKY FAILS A DRUG TEST", Keep in my mind it came from denver- now with that being said...say it isnt true....and all this gets cleared up....this craziness has scared other teams from being interested, leaving the only team....denver broncos, to offer a trade............I dont know......anybody understand where I coming from?

u know what slander and libel are? If this was a rumor someone is getting sued, and they are gonna have a hard time sitting down for a while after the lawsuit

Ya maybe your right, maybe I just want this not to be true, I dont know, but then again dude, who would really find out who said it...who would get sued? u know? I guess the tv station reporting first could ...

but it's not just Denver.........everyone is reporting and confirming the "failed" test. you're saying that it's something that they made up, which obviously isn't true at this point.

AND

even if that were the case, the Dolphins would still just keep him rather than trade him for less than what they feel his value to the team is.

I thought this from the start. Whats so hard to believe about it? Never heard of people being set up from the inside? Most crap like this comes from the inside. So who are these sources and why are they so scared to come forward and show themselves? Its because there is something missing at the end of the day.

Libel and slander are hard to prove. What this is is a breach of league policy by the league. They did not give out the info correctly even if the info is correct. The league has hinted that ricky can appeal and that many players have been in this position before. Problem is, this is supposet to be communicated from the league, not some reporter in Denver.

I was reading the " Denver Post " and clearly the broncos were interested to trade for RW, cause the low cap implication. The newspaper in reference to the " failed test " said that was not due by MJ....all this saga is so confusing.

media people cover other media peoples butts. Thats how it works. If the "failed" drug test is true, then the league should just come forth and officially announce it, but they wont, why? because they were wrong in the first place and they cant show any more that they are wrong or they are in deep doo doo. They broke there own rules.

It's there policy not announce these things at this point in the process........now obviously someone F'd up and leaked the story........but that doesn't mean that the NFL should scrap their policy and publicize everything.

BUT

If this were NOT true, the NFL would have certainly come forward and said that they have no failed drug test for RW......in this case, their silence is deafening.....he did "fail" a test.

Bottom line...no matter what. Nick Saban won't trade Ricky unless his value to the Dolphin's organization is met.
