Think about this (QB)

You can't step up until you know, without thinking what you're doing..and that's not the case in June for these guys..

What are you talking about? Thinking is involved in every play.

All of the QB's looked poor to ok. I don't expect any of the camp reporters or Dolphin bloggers to crown a winner. Saban has yet to evaluate them relative to their performances in training, because this isn't the time for evaluation.
You said RELATIVE

Unfortunately, that's one of the knocks on AJ, he's not great at picking up any O and he doesn't show much feel.

Of course I can't do better! I am not a pro footballl player with his arse on the line. How does that change the fact that AJ is not stepping up.

There are not many quarterbacks that can look great during the first minicamps in a new system. Generally it takes a year for the quarterback to get the system down.

Of course that is only if you look at the past and think it has anything to do with the present.

The past has alot to do with the future, that's why a bright man once said, "insanity is doing the same things over and over again, hoping for a different outcome." Excuses aside, AJ has not performed up to par in the past, therefore, what makes you think that things will change. Additonally, this is not AJ's first mincamp in miami with a totally different cast of characters. The system is new to all of the returning Dolphins, so this excuse is not valid.

I've pretty much come to this conclusion about A.J Feely. This guy was a late draft pick for a reason, he was the 3rd stringer in Philly for a reason, it's because the guy dosen't have skills to be a starter...yet. Guys like him need a lot of time and experience before they can be big successes in the NFL. If it was some guy taken in the first like McNabb, Manning, or Culpepper and they we're sucking ***, then you could go ahead and call them a bust.

you are correct about that, but WR and RB have a much easier time adjusting to a new system execpt for maybe RB blitz pickups because they just have to worry about the route they're running or what hole to hit. Where as the QB has to pickup on the overall language, has to know all the routes in a certain play, how many steps to take on particular dropbacks, hot reads and much more. If Feeley is still screwing it up halfway through the preseason I be roasting him with the rest of you but until then I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

We are not roasting AJ, but it would be nice to hear that our possible starting QB is average and looks alright. Its hard to hear that he is struggling so much. Why are there so many reports coming about how inadequate he looks? Is there alot of fans who hate AJ, maybee, or is it that he just looks bad. I don't know, only time will tell.
