i dont know about anyone else, but i have been thinking about how great of a rb combo the fins could potentially have next year, assuming ricky comes back. i realize this would only be for one year bc we would want to trade ricky in the long run, but for next year at least, imagine ronnie and ricky as a 1 2 punch.
 
I don't understand how any Dolphin fans could pass up having both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams carrying the ball, it would be DEADLY!

Lamar Gordon continues to get no respect. I think he is a pretty good back and will easily beat out harris for the 2nd slot.

I completely forgot about him in the revolving door we had at running back last season. Obviously if he is better than Harris then I want him to be the number two guy also.
 
Harris will probply be the #2 guy. But we will just have to wait and see

harris has too much hype, mid you he wasnt drafted....certainly gordon or minor(if on team) could beat him out at #2 but in the future i think he oculd b a great back-up back
 
Not likely. According to reports, we have about 2 mil in cap space and with that we are supposedly looking at adding a CB, Receiver, and Defensive Tackle. Ricky's salary alone would be about 3mil, so I sincerely doubt we will go that route.
Add to the mix the fact that Ricky is a flake and cant be counted on....and the possibility that he couldnt pass a drug test anyway....and you have to agree that Ricky coming back this year is a very remote possibility at best.
 
I told you Ricky just left Wanny!!!! Not the Fins. Wanny is gone Ricky returns. This could have been avoided if they just fired Wanny last year and then you all would be lining up to rub his balz.
Remember JT,ZT,Jr and a few othe D players asked to give him one more year. Then he quit on those players that vouched for his job.

i think you're dead on. if we keep 4 active rbs then I see Harris making the team. I honestly think that Harris will start the season on the practice squad unless he blows the coaching staff away (which is possible).

I like Kay-jay a good deal and was shocked he wasn't drafted in the 4th or 5th rounds. But I feel that Gordon, Minor, and Morris are all ahead of Harris at this time (and of coure Ronnie "Chocolate Thunder" Brown). Training camp is when we find out who helps this our team's new offense out the most. All things will be decided then. Minny kept 4 active rbs all year...point being that we don't even know how the roster is going to be situated. I've got my own ideas based on what Linehan kept on the Vikings offense last season but even that could change. While Linehan is the undisputed "runner" of our offense, Saban will have some input into the people kept. We'll see.

BTW, just like eveyone else...I'm more than ready for training camp to start :)
