Think of the possible RB combo

Fruit Loops are GRRRRRRREEEEAAATTTTTT!!!
Would you work for your boss if he made you work double time no questions and no OT Pay. Why should Ricky carry the ball for the record 2 year mark for that dip s#$%

i think you're dead on. if we keep 4 active rbs then I see Harris making the team. I honestly think that Harris will start the season on the practice squad unless he blows the coaching staff away (which is possible).

I like Kay-jay a good deal and was shocked he wasn't drafted in the 4th or 5th rounds. But I feel that Gordon, Minor, and Morris are all ahead of Harris at this time (and of coure Ronnie "Chocolate Thunder" Brown). Training camp is when we find out who helps this our team's new offense out the most. All things will be decided then. Minny kept 4 active rbs all year...point being that we don't even know how the roster is going to be situated. I've got my own ideas based on what Linehan kept on the Vikings offense last season but even that could change. While Linehan is the undisputed "runner" of our offense, Saban will have some input into the people kept. We'll see.

BTW, just like eveyone else...I'm more than ready for training camp to start :)

thank you man someone who agrees;)

I think the coaches will make the right call...

They even said in a interview, that Kay Jay was on of the free-agents that supried him. and that was doing very good

Nick Saban threw out bait but it was not taken. The fish was wading through weeds and did not see the bait.

I dont know if thats true but I think its time to put Ricky behind us and move on with the guys we have.

I don't understand how any Dolphin fans could pass up having both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams carrying the ball, it would be DEADLY!

Here's how- any football fan who knows the league realizes that you can't count on, trust or put your team in the hands of someone as unstable, selfish and untrustworthy as Ricky Williams.

He screwed Miami worse than any other athlete ever screwed another team.

Its time to turn the page on this screwed up loser- and that's what Williams is.

could Kay Jay possibly play Fullback??? If we got Ricky back, Ronnie Brown will be the starter, and Ricky will back him up.....Ronnie would also play slot Widereciever.

harris has too much hype, mid you he wasnt drafted....certainly gordon or minor(if on team) could beat him out at #2 but in the future i think he oculd b a great back-up back

i watched kay jay harris for a few games this last season and i was surprised he wasn't drafted. of course i was stoked that we picked him up, i truly think he will beat out gordon for the #2 spot. Mark my words, Kay Jay is a stud.

Ricky has lost like 20 lbs, he wont be in game shape, he wont be the bruiser he was, and he would probably be 3rd or 4th on the depth chart right now. Now thats not saying he isnt a great back he is, dilusional but great. He will not be ready to play, plus would have to serve a 4 game suspension...... Ummmmmm at 3 million+ ....No thanks!

Finally some sense being said about Ricky Williams!

Ugghh, give it up already. Ricky isn't coming back.

As for Harris, he is stuck behind Gordon and Minor, and you're all forgetting our best runner last year, Sammy Morris, although it looks likes he will be competing with Evans for the starting FB job.

The flaw in your argument is that Ricky chose his workload. He had the option to come out of the game any time he wanted...no questions asked. He also was not supposed to be in on most 3rd downs, until he specifically asked to be left in on 3rd downs. Ricky himself chose to carry that huge workload, probably because a good portion of his salary was based on incentives. Then, when he needed another excuse for quitting, he suddenly felt he was being overworked.

Who cares about Ricky??:shakeno:

Noone cares about RW right now.(at least noone SHOULD right now) But as soon as he comes back, (IF he in fact does) then it will be amazing how suddenly the vast majority will welcome him back.

i dont know about anyone else, but i have been thinking about how great of a rb combo the fins could potentially have next year, assuming ricky comes back. i realize this would only be for one year bc we would want to trade ricky in the long run, but for next year at least, imagine ronnie and ricky as a 1 2 punch.

Nope, not 1 person has mentioned or thought of this. You must be a genious! Ricky and Ronnie, Holy Sheeeet! Wow, how does your brain think of this type stuff????

i can't believe that harris was not drafted, but lucky for miami he wasn't. the only reason i can see is that he is 26, but he doesn't have a lot of wear and he is big. ricky is down to what 190lbs? would he be any better than minor or gordon as a 3rd down back? i have not seen if harris can play fullback, but if so that is the backfield i want to see, harris blocking for brown. i think minor is the odd man out.
