It is awesome to see him beginning to get the recognition he deserves. I have had the priviledge to see him play in college and it was great. A real student of the game and a tough guy. He will go for.
 
Good news indeed. Gus is growing on me too. I generally like younger players that develop but, in the end, I enjoy watching the phins win regardless. So if crusty ol' Gus is the answer, then I will support him. What I really like to hear is that Sage, A.J. and Brock seem to be progressing as well. Perhaps we could have the luxury of four qb's? I doubt it but with Welker proving he can play wideout/kr/pr/pk, he may save us an extra spot on the roster.
 
Furthermore, we seem to have quite the battle going on at the WR spot as well. Chambers, Booker Boston an dWelker are pretyt much asured a spot. I used to think the same thing about Thompson but with the play of Gilmore, Davis and Newson, Thompson may be in trouble.

Thing is, Welker was cut when Tim Dwight came back from injury. Dwight now plays for the Patriots.

Their loss indeed.
 
Gus Fre(ROT) is growing too much on people and it is sickening....
 
things are starting to sound good. I'm glad Gus appears to be pulling away from AJ... also nice to read about Berlin.
 
I guarnteed u Freorette will be Fins starting qb in open game vs Broncos.

Fins fans will not see Feeley in Fins uniform next year!!! He's sucks!!

Never know Berlin ahead of Feeley in QB depth chart!!

No kidding man, he is awesome. It really struck me when I watched the Bears game, because you really had no comparison before that. He returned kicks and then Travis Minor tried. I think the difference was stunning.

Minor would get good yards off special teams blocks, but would mostly run straight ahead and get knocked over by the first guy to get to him.

Welker would recieve the ball, regardless of blocks, and almost never be brought down by the first man. Most of his returns, he will get by the first man, and then be taken down by number 2 or 3. He is awesome after making the catch. I hope for him that his role grows

there is a lot of love for Brock this morning... but he wont be the backup.
 
Frerotte isn't crusty by any means at all. Yes, he is 34, but he has nowhere near the wear and tear of somebody that age. He hasnt taken anywhere near all the hits that somebody like Trent Green has taken, or Brett Favre, and they're a year older.

Plus, he's only signed to a 2 year deal anyway, with a very cheap contract for a potential starter. He can easily start for 2 years to make way for somebody thats drafted next year.
