I think its all in the eyes of the reader actually. Feeley fans will read into that article that Feeley still has a shot of starting. Gus fans will wonder what kind of powder that guy was packin in his pipe.
Luckily for us all..I think we can all agree that in the end..the only person it matters to is Saban. Very few of us will second guess his decision..whether its what we wanted or not. Thank goodness we have a real coach now.
I will also say this. Both these guys need to be ready..because like Saban says...we are going to need both this year. I wouldnt be suprised to see AJ step it up this Sat...but I know if he does well..and Gus doesnt...we are gonna hear it is all because he played the second and third string.

Saban has siad a few times that they will start the QB who is the most consistent and manages the game the best, not who is the most talented. So to me, Saban loves Feeley's arm, but has to good with steadiness first.

Hmm..
I think D. Lee's blocking may keep him on the squad...he absolutely had a hell of a blocking game against the jags...I think the catching thing is a head game that he needs to over come..
