Lots of Patriot fans (and visiting fans) come to Miami to leave the crappy weather and places they live. So lots of opposing team's fans are going to show up. I don't know why some people get so overworked about this. There is a lot to do in Miami besides football and so you probably will never get a sell out stadium with mostly Miami fans. I am more concerned about the team than the fans.

Kdawg, that shouldn't be an excuse. I feel you it is true that our fans come when we are good. Like the past 2 jets game on MNF, majority were Fins fans. And thats because two years ago we won on MNF with Ronnie Brown scoring (INSANE OF A GAME). I just want to make the argument that, if you can go to some games then do it because win or lose, its fun going to these games. The group I sit with, they make it just as fun. And there are a lot of optimistic fans that believe and believe and believe. I have 6 season tickets. I resell 4 and normally I ask if they are Fins fan. I just sold 2 to AlexfromtheU from here, and he had a Pats friend but we had fun tailgating. There are some fans that are cool of other teams and those I don't mind. Never have I seen a stadium with all home fans. Being down here in S. Florida, we will always have opposing fans. Unless you are being a douche of an opposing fan, we all have one thing in common, to watch our team win and have fun. For future references, we tailgate at West 33 LOL.

I get what you're saying but Buffalo is a bad example. I wouldn't go to Buffalo if they paid me. Traveling to Miami is a vacation plus you get to see your team play.

I agree on both points. I'd never go to Buffalo even if it meant I'd get to **** the hottest chicks there no strings attached.

As for Miami, there's no better place to go see your team play than South Florida. Win or lose you still get to enjoy the beaches, women, etc. while there. It's no coincidence that fans of the Northern teams (Pats and Jets) like coming down, especially late in the season.

Trust me though, when the natural cycle is complete in new England and they return to the "squatting ****" helmet days, the "fans" will drop off in droves.

1. It's like that everywhere for Boston fans. Go to a Mariners game in Seattle and the Sox fans are ridiculous. I hate it. Go to a Wizards game and it's 75% Celtic fans. I love it (Celtics fan). Some fanbases have more cash to go to games out of state and Phins fans pack away games too.

2. 2-15 at home last 17 games. Sorry but no. Just no.

Lots of Spurs fans at the Wizards homes games too with me being one of them

West 33, I'll keep that in mind when I hit a game or 3 this season (beer? brats? we'll discuss that lol). I wasn't speaking for myself when it comes to the team winning or losing, I was speaking to the general fan base and their views on when to go see this team. Hell if I had the money I would go to every game. The big problem is season ticket holders, buying season tickets and selling them for profit to non fans. I can't knock their hustle but its a big problem. The people who have the funds and don't go are part time fans IMO . . . if your basis for going to a Fins game is because they are "winning" then I think that is a bit onesided on anybodys part. If you got the money to go to the games, and would go if they were winning, you should go when they are losing also.

The owner needs to understand we don't need high def TV's and clubs, we want the atmosphere . . . the best way to get fans is to make the atmosphere more "goose bumpy" . . . When Brady has the ball on the opening drive, my fingers need to be in my ears . . . I don't care if Ms. Columbia is in the club not paying attention to the game. Once he gets that, and makes changes, the place will be more inviting as well.

I do think that once marlins are out, the first thing he should do whether it is privately funded or city funded, move the seats closers. I think that field club tickets is a big waste of money on the sidelines because it takes so much room away. I know the dug out is there, which that will no longer be there so thats something to look for.

Yeah watching the camera lens shaking last night in Denver was a sad sight. They suck worse than us. This winning cures everything is a joke. The Broncos have been worse than us since Elway retired and yet there is a freaking waiting list to get season tickets in Denver that is 10 years long.

Winning would bring more fans, but honestly I don't think it would level the visiting fans. I'm sure there are TONS of new yokers and new englanders living down here now for the better weather. And there's a crap ton of steelers fans living in jacksonville, so making a 5 hr drive to see them play down here sounds great.

It won't stop it, you are right and we unfortunately live in a part of the country where people from Pittsburgh/Philadelphia, New York and Boston relocate. Plus there is a crap load of Cowboy fans down here as well. You literally have to be sold out of season tickets, and all those fans go to the game. Unfortunately it doesn't happen that way as dealers buy up the tickets and resell them to the highest bidder.

Jets fans, Steelers fans, Pats fans, etc. They know when the schedule comes out what game they are going to and they are gonna go all out to see their team in person for probably the only game this year.

That, and many people from the northeast retire to live in Florida, moreso than anywhere else. Between them & their kids, are willing to catch a game if the tickets are available. I've done that with my parents since they moved down in 2000. Same with Jet fans.
