This is starting to look bad for miami dolphins

After this years overblown locker room media scandle we still care about the national media perspective?

I thought everyone wanted Sherman gone. Now there is criticism because he was fired?

You can't please everyone. There is always a few ****roaches coming out of the wood work.
Getting rid of Shermin is a positive change as anyone who actually watched this games this year can attest. Did it go far enough, or is there another change in the works???...we shall see.
Ireland has been a constant impediment to the growth of this team. If we had kept all those very good players that Ireland released or traded only to be replaced with lesser players over the last couple years, this team would have made the playoffs.

Not really worried about the national media. This isn't anything compared to quit-gate. Eff the media.

There was something wrong with Sherman and our offense, something you could feel but not put your finger on. Sherman was a good person and I wish him the best. I bet a lot of our players on offense learned something from Sherman that they'll look back on someday.Maybe father time caught up with him.

Happy for offensive change not happy we had to let a dolphin coach go but it was the right call.

National response to Sherman's firing is not good folks! Responses range from people calling him a "scapegoat", to the "fall guy" to the calling Philbin spineless and a back stabber. Whaoo!! Haven't we gone through this step before? Didn't they fired Dan Henning years back wasn't the result the same? What we are missing here is a "thorough cleansing."
The team needs a fresh start, the common denominator is still lurking.

Cleanse damn it, cleanse! This rinse, lather and repeat process is not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We arent missing a thorough cleansing. We are missing a QB.

The rest of the world knows it, thats why they are calling Sherman a scapegoat. Only on FH is it all Ireland, Sherman, and the OL. Where most people are living, reality, our QB is garbage.

Tannehill is on his way to Top 10 QB status in this league, IF some other personnel guy can get him surrounded with talent. The resurgence of this franchise begins with the canning of ireland once and for all.

Don't fool yourself, outside the narrow minded cone of tunnel vision, Ryan Tannehill is considered an up and coming QB.

You'll only find the doom and groomers and blow it all up delusionals on Finheaven.

Sherman is being considered a scapegoat for one thing and one thing only. And that's Ireland it has been commented numerous times around league circles that the fact that Ireland still has a job is more shocking then Millen was in Detroit. You and a handful of posters with your anti tannehill thread hijacking is getting old. For years it was Matty Ice every chance you got hadn't heard much about him from you this year surprise surprise. If I was going to go off and say he's a bust because of one year that's ludicrous. You take all factors into consideration especially with the qb position. This constant repetitive hate is pathetic rarely containing any legitimacy see to its arguments. and the only time that does have some is being into the ground every chance someone gets but the good that he's done just gets looked over. its sad that little anti tannehil group actually would rather him fail at the expense of the team just to prove their agenda which is constant unsupported one-sided hate

Did the media call Harbaugh a backstabber when he fired Cam Cameron (his former boss) in mid-season last year?

Coaching on both sides of the ball was not consistent and thus not good!
The offense was more problematic than the Defense, so Sherm is gone.
The question is who can you bring in to replace Philibin and Co en masse, then you could fire Jeff.
If not a whole regime change then it may make more sense to Keep Ireland and Philbin for one more year.

Jeff Ireland's draft picks are once again suspect.
I think Ireland should go but that may cause even more instability.
This year is make or break for Philbin and Jeff's regime.
Hopefully they can turn it around.

I don't care what the National Response is, I only care about my response...and that is HUURRRRAAAYYY!!!!!

If you watched our games, especially the 2nd half of games, you'd understand why Sherman needed to go. The 'Go-GoGo' thing, alone, was enough to can his butt. I don't care anything about the opinions of people who didn't watch every snap.

I have accepted that anything the Dolphins do is a chance for writers and reporters to get to post pessimistic and "negative" views of the seemingly-average doings of NFL teams.

Any team fires an OC that had a bad year: Great!

Dolphins fire an OC that had a bad year: Hmm... Somethin SMELLS FISHY... HC trying to save his job???
