This is why Tony wanted to play at 1pm

I'd be 100% willing to stand around in 90+ degree weather, surrounded by other sweaty and likely overweight football fans, so long as it gives the Dolphins a better chance to win. We need more 1PM games.

i'd call it some sort of advantage....

fat albert would be done before the half.

Me too especially if it meant beating the Pats.

i dunno. I think our owner comes across as a bit of a pansy... marc anthony etc for promo... evening games so as to make the fans comfortable??

football is suppose to be hard nosed and gritty.. and thats what make the experience for the fans what it is... When i go to the bills games, the more snow and the colder it is makes it part of the experience...and believe me, it gets friggin cold and windy. bbq'in and beers in minus 20+ is something you don't just do everyday...

i can't help but think the brews go down a lil easier in 90+ degrees...

i'd be in.

edit: ...err.. Minus 20 (celcius) and 90+ farenheit..

If you look at tomorrow's forecast the heat index around game time is going to be around 90. I still think we are going to have the thermometer on our side. Just a question, what time does the sunset in Miami now?

if anybody has every been to miami they know even at 7 oclock it will still be muggy, hot, and uncomfortable, especially for people used to being in the north east

Hey Tony, get your team to win in december with the playoffs on the line. There will be no playoff games in the heat in Jan.. You need to be better then the other team, and not count on weather to help you win.

You used to be able to count on at least one or two wins per year from the heat with 1pm games

If your the better team, you will win. No excuses about the weather. Does it help? maybe. But you know what else helps? playing better than the team on the other side of the ball.

As John Madden would say, if you score more points then the opposite team, you have a good shot at winning the game. (paraphrasing)

Ross is the most destructive "hands-off" owner ever.

True that
