What it means is it has to be someone that is tight with Aponte and has worked with her in a prior capacity….Tannebaum, Mangini or Gaine.

Those names are not news flashes, but those tossing names around from around the league and the idea this is a plum job…they are way off.

Aponte is not pulling any strings. There is a 90% chance that the new GM has no associations with Parcels or the Jets. Aponte is useful in her strength, as a capologist. That is all.
The new GM will come from a NFC team. Bank on it.
