I lived in Philly when Andy Reid was hired as HC, and he was an offensive line coach and Qb coach for Green Bay prior to his hiring. He wasnt even an OC. I think there were protests in fron of the Vet the same day he was hired to replace Ray Rhodes. I wonder what Baltimore fans though when they hired a ST coach as HC, or what Pitt fans though when they hired a deffensive backs ocach as HC.

Just curious, but when you sat in on the interview with McCoy, Ireland, and Ross, what was it that turned you off from him?
 
Ticket sales will fall and attendance will be worse than last year unless new Coach goes to a 5-0 start...Ross has got to know this because a monkey could do that math.

So what is your alternative to McCoy? Is it Philbin or Zimmer? because those guys wont be selling tickets either. And why do you care so much about ticket sales? We sold out games last year when we started 0-7 with Tony Sparano.
 
BOO HOO, they didn't pick who you wanted them too, and just enjoy, if they had zimmer and lost with you'd be saying the same thing, Fisher went to St.Louis and won't play one down for them, give the process a chance before we as fans start moaning and groaning.

What exactly makes Zimmer more qualified than McCoy?
 
this is a win win situation... if mccoy works out we have a coach if he doesnt he gets scrapped along with ireland either way we end up winning

Yea because Zimmer's been a hot candidate for years now. He's still a coordinator for more reasons than the Dolphins.

It killed me when I read they felt Zimmer was too "blunt" aka a guy who states exactly how he feels and lets you know where you stand in his eyes, is straight forward and to the point, dosent bull**** you, and most people think that makes him a prick.

So lets see..... Zimmer shares that quality with guys like Jimmy Johnson, Bill Belichick, Nick Saban, JCane, and myself. What do those guys have in common..... :ponder: Oh thats right... massive SUCCESS. Yea, I could see how these morons(Ross, Ireland) could see that as a problem. :rolleyes2: :bobdole:

Give McCarthy or Bowles a QB the caliber of Aaron Rodgers and I'm sure they will have similar success. Indy's HC looked pretty good too until Peyton Manning went down. We get the right players and as long as the HC doesn't completely try to handcuff them we will win games and lots of them. We could have an actual puppet as HC and succeed with a top 5 QB on the roster.

How about Zimmer goes somewhere else and ends up being head and shoulders above what we end up with....True it's all a crap shot but you have to be able to atleast evaluate talents shown and then make the decision....we are not or let me say have not been the greatest of talent evaluators....

10 years of mediocrity, IMO people have every right to Moan and question these clowns running the organization, and it's a possible sign that this fan, one doesn't have his head buried in the sand and two he cares enough to be really upset.......
How long of a process do you need to question this FO 5-6-10 years ????
 
Don't you know it's that time again. Every few years is the start to a sacred dolphins tradition. During the inevitable firing and hiring of a new coach, dolphin fans amass to compete in that spectacular event known as the Dolphin Homer Olympics.

Every few years, all of finheavens biggest and brightest homers get together to see who can talk up the new coach the most. Watch such events like "who can find the most arbitrary morsel and prop it up as fact" , "arguing why the coach we chose is the best choice and than switching the arguement to the next candidate" and my personal favorite "calling out the haters"

So get excited phins fans. The Dolphin Homer Olympics are upon us.
