This place is so bi-polar it's ridiculous

I'm guessing you didn't watch the games. But hey, maybe you're right, maybe Brees and Payton suck, despite their SB ring (that's something given the team that wins the Super Bowl, in case you are not familiar with what lies at the end of the playoffs, which we very rarely qualify for). :bobdole:

In any case, I'll fill you in on what happened, they lost on the road to a rival. You know, one of those games that is always close, regardless of how good the other team is. It's basically the Dolphins vs. the jests, which can always go either way. Then they lost to a team with a very good defense (Cleveland) with the help of a very ****ty defensive effort on their part.

Lol so those tough division rival games you're talking about...we played two of them and won one of them so what is your point

So after one week were afc east champs...after week 2, seasons over....overreactions in the biggest way after both games.

Who projected this team as a playoff team after week one? I saw 5 times the amount of threads winning about the inconsistency of the offense after game one than there were saying we were on the way to something.

Thumbs down for this thread because its absolutely ridiculous to act like most of us weren't pretty unhappy with the play of our QB last week and a minority of posters basically said "STFU we won". This team could have won 50-20 last week if they had better execution but bad execution means you are living on borrowed time.

I don't know an educated poster on here who hasn't realized that Joe Philbin is a terrible NFL coach because he takes a team talented enough to beat the NFL's best and finds a way to lose to the NFL's worst just as often in other games.
I don't know an educated poster on here who hasn't realized finally that Ryan Tannehill is only 2/3 of the QB a franchise QB should be and that his chances of getting that last 1/3 are next to none.
I don't know an educated poster on here who hasn't realized that Kevin Coyle's defense by the numbers is pretty good, and yet it is a below .500 defense not just because of the offense, but also because it loses in key situations that are the difference between winning a game and losing more often than a top defense should.

The only bi-polarity I see is on the field, and that is with the way a Philbin coached team can dominate a contended one week and lose to a bottom feeder the next.

BTW, commenting on the failures of Tannehill and Philbin are not a 2 game sample size, it's a 34 game sample size already. I can guess how this season is going based on statistical evidence and the team re-affirming that evidence by continuing the tendencies that have caused that.

Lol don't even act like people werereserved antithesis.I read the threads all week...I'm a regular user on this forum. I saw people sayinghowthis team had a different attitude and lazor was a great upgrade etc. Now they're all ****heads.

Well what have you seen this team be more of, the afc champ variety, or what you witnessed today. I didn't even post after last weeks game, because I know it was an upset. NE is better than the Dolphins. I see the same problems with this team, as the day this coach and qb got here.

We knew all along buffalo is a tough matchup. They play us tough every year.

Yes, but that's why Ross pays Lazor. That's why he pays Coyle, and Joe. Not to understand that the bills are a tough match up, hell we fans can do that. Ross pays them to beat the bills especially after an embarrassing loss last year.

Look man there was a ****y attitude around here all last week don't act like there wasn't. Those are the knee jerk people I'm referring to. There is even keeled people and people who kept their same opinion throughout but the knee, jerk posters are who I'm referring to.

For a week Lazor and Moreno looked like they could be a band-aid for some of this team's weaknesses, nobody thought they went away entirely. A week later Moreno is hurt and Lazor showed he is just as capable of calling a poor game and needlessly abandoning a run game as Sherman and now the people who had some slim hope of those two being a difference maker have received confirmation that they probably won't be.

I'd still take Lazor over Sherman eight days a week.

Exactly, saying that the Bills are a tough matchup, doesn't excuse the Coaches/Team from going out and getting their asses handed to them. You mean to tell me that they couldn't improve, at least a little bit, on the joke of a game they had up there last year? I guess not, which means the team is no better, which means they are not good enough to compete in the division, which means unless they prove otherwise during the rest of the year, Ross will be looking for replacements at the end of the season.

I know everyone already knows how finheaven rolls, especially after a loss but all week long you got people acting like we're making the playoffs and now after week 2 the seasons over..let's start a head coach search thread, lets trade this guy, fire that guy..etc.

Yea today's game was rough, it was hard to watch. We didn't play good in all three phases. We were down 9-3 when spiller returned that kick. Our offense couldn't move the ball, our defense couldn't come up with big stops in the second half, special teams allowed a blocked punt, a td and fumbled one away. Philbin threw in the towel before halftime.

Yea I get it, it was bad...emotions were high after the big win last week and today was a letdown. There's still 14 games left. I'm not ready to throw in the towel.

But the thing that gets me about this site is the week to week knee jerk reactions. We beat the patriots last week and everyone on finheaven was pumped, talking playoffs...talking about how great lazor is and how we scored 30 in the first game. Talked about how much heart and emotion the team played with. ALOT of people said the team had a different feel about them.

Now after week 2 we suck, the seasons over. Typical finheaven.

And I'm not saying people don't have a right to be pissed because this game was bad and I'm pissed too but I'm not gonna write the team off after one loss to a tough division rival with a bunch of playmakers. Even when the bills sucked they played us hard. All week long people were talking about how good buffalo d line is,but once the game started and Tannehill got sacked you guys acted surprised.

Bravo!

It's starting to occur to me it's not the Miami losses that affect me so much anymore. It's the ridiculous reactions of the fans.

lolol....I totally agree. I have to admit, I get pretty excited as well after a win but I'm not one he demands respect for a win. We are an 8-8 team until we get a real quarterback. It looks like Tannehill is bi-polar as well

It's sadly not the same people. When we win some are silent but when we lose they come out in full force with their ignorant threads that obviously are biased based on their irrational feelings. It's stupid and mods should start limiting new threads by rarely active members.
