Mike Tomlin is a liar and a cheat. He clearly knew where he was on the field, in fact he measured the moment that he jumped out of the way from the Baltimore player in order to maximize disturbing the play. Soon after, he was seen wryly smiling to his cohorts on the sideline as they replayed the incident over and over on the big screen. So this weekend we get to play a cheat and liar leading his blessed Steelers. I truly hope they get what they should get - a good kick in the ass from a team led by a man of principle...Joe Philbin and his Miami Dolphins. Shame on you Tomlin and shame on all you Steeler fans who stand by him even though you know deep down you're wrong. Go Fins!

If Rex Ryan did what Tomlin did, he would be suspended. Such a joke. Tomlin got a free pass.

Don't worry that was a blip on the radar, wait til the league brandishes our punishment, it will last all offseason in hte media's eyes.

I'm not going to speculate if or if not in regards to his intention. I will say his apology was total garbage.

Because let's be honest... Its the Steelers. The Rooneys. Goodell is Rooney's guy. Are you really surprised?

A game or two suspension would have been in order. Head coaches should be held to a higher level of responsibility.

Sal Alosi lost his job for sticking his knee out. Alosi was in an area that he was supposed to be in when that incident occurred. Tomlin stepped into the field of play and regardless of his intent, should have been suspended the remainder of the season. That would send a much clearer signal than 100k and the possibility of a mid-late round draft pick.

According to Stephen A. Smith, the league is handling this all wrong. But when the MIAMI 'bullying scandal' came out, he had no problem piling on. He went after the locker room leadership (Wake and Starks) and Philbin. He wanted heads to roll in that case. But with Tomlin, he wants it done and over with, yesterday.

True colors come out when its one of your own.

I love when the Steelers claim the league is out to get them. Unreal.

it doesnt bother me that they didnt get much, but it bothers me that if it was the Dolphins, heads would have rolled.

It's the same with the Pats. Two of the most obnoxious fan bases and when a call goes against them that cost them a game they want a Congressional investigation. I just showed that video of the blown fumble call from that Steelers game to a Pats fan and he was speechless.

****ing Gene Steratore, the Pittsburgh native... That ****ing piece of ****. That game STILL sticks in my craw 3 years later.

Agreed. The stealers get away w/ alot.

The scope of Tomlin's punishment worries me. I have a feeling the league will make it up to them Sunday. Enough so, that it'll make 10/24/10 seem like a drop in the bucket.
