This Weekend the Dolphins Play a Cheat

****ing Gene Steratore, the Pittsburgh native... That ****ing piece of ****. That game STILL sticks in my craw 3 years later.

I thought I was the only one who still can't let it go. They couldn't have Benny (who has the cognitive skills of V Young & resembles a 275 pound chipmunk) lose his 1st game back from suspension

I fumed about that game for nearly a full week. I swear I almost had a stroke after that ****ing game, one of the worst calls I've ever seen. Complete **** job.

It kind of weird, he is looking back and also why would he not be paying attention. Just a couple things I noticed. His demeanour seemed to be embarrassment however.

Mike Tomlin is a liar and a cheat. He clearly knew where he was on the field, in fact he measured the moment that he jumped out of the way from the Baltimore player in order to maximize disturbing the play. Soon after, he was seen wryly smiling to his cohorts on the sideline as they replayed the incident over and over on the big screen. So this weekend we get to play a cheat and liar leading his blessed Steelers. I truly hope they get what they should get - a good kick in the ass from a team led by a man of principle...Joe Philbin and his Miami Dolphins. Shame on you Tomlin and shame on all you Steeler fans who stand by him even though you know deep down you're wrong. Go Fins!

Lame. I would love if he was the coach here to be honest.

I was bothered by what Tomlin did and used the jumbotron to pull this punk act off.I was even more bothered by him lying about it.And I am triple bothered by fans still wanting a cheater liar to coach here.

Especially for a coach on the competition committee. As his actions were clearly intentional, it would be outrageous if he retains his seat on that committee.

If Rex Ryan did what Tomlin did, he would be suspended. Such a joke. Tomlin got a free pass.

I would have run him over. Then he would really be guilty. If he is on the field, he deserves to be hit. I would have stiff armed his ars.

I stroked out ala Lewis Black as well. As Therapy, I sent Steratore an email w/ a motto for his cleaning supply company... "Cleaning up Pittsburgh's messes; no matter where they occur."

Lmfao, that's awesome. To this day the name 'Gene Steratore' makes me twitch. I'll flip **** if he's doing the game this week. Btw, did he reply to your e-mail?

Since everyone is entitled to an opinion, I'll just state that mine is that he couldn't have possibly have done it on purpose -he'd have to be too stupid. He was very lucky he didn't get hit by the player, penalized, or suspended, and he must have realized those were all likely outcomes if he had thought about it beforehand.

Also, doing it on purpose would have been a real challenge. He'd have to practice for months. If you watch the PFT fan video, he was in the middle of the white stripe with his back to the play (watching on the jumbotron, which makes sense, as it's a much better view) before the ball was even fielded. He couldn't have possibly known the play was going to end 60 yards downfield right where we was walking, so he'd need to practice every return for every game waiting for his chance. Also, if he'd known what he was doing he would have been very tense knowing Jones was approaching fast with a collision a real possibility, especially since he knew where Jones was, but he couldn't know his own exact position as he was looking up the whole time. The tension would have shown in his face and as he tried to jump out of the way -unless he has professional acting training, which I doubt he does.

All in all, it's possible he could have done it on purpose, but I doubt he has the skillset, stupidity and dedication to pull it off.
