This will make Berlin lovers SALIVATE

I will never forget that game. One of the best i have ever been to. I was so mad when everyone just kept booing him (as they always did). When he was coming back oh my gosh was it madness at the OB! Brock has a knack for not giving up. The dude always fights back no matter how bad it looks. Yes he is MUCH better in the shotgun, no huddle, hurry-up offense but i also think he could be coached to be good in other areas. He has the arm strenght (IMO) and he has the instincts now he just needs the knowledge and the proper schemes to match his ability.

I would not mind to see the fins give this guy a shot. Maybe not start right away but make the team and just see what happens. Since Gus will not have much of a future and now that aj is not looking so good why not give berlin a shot?

You wonder if there is the right coaching out there in the league to help him develop. The coaching wasnt too good when it came to adding things he could do, like operate under shotgun. Maybe someone in the NFL can teach him.

I have tried to make this point for the longest time. All people did was make wisecracks when Berlin was brought to this team, but I did mention with the right coaching he can develop.

I'm not for this guy starting or anything, but I came across this piece of footage from the TerryTate Vault. I hope you guys enjoy!

Flashback to a few years ago, it was the Hurricanes against the Gators at the Orange bowl....without giving much of the clip away, Berlin was getting torn up by the fanbase in miami as the lead increased to 33-10 UF. Then Berlin showed his heart, and pulled off the greatest half of football he has ever played, turning the chorus of boos into a chorus of cheers (temporarily for that night)....

Enjoy the video.

Excelent clip

If IM right, we LOST the next day to the Texans and missed the playoffs at a 10-6 mark.. SUCKS!

i never gave up when i was that watching game - canes always have weapons - david hester is a human highlight reel when it comes to returns - i watched that game with my ex girlfriends father who went to the u of f and was a real s.o.b. - he didn't care for me much because i was giving it to his daughter - he really didn't care for me after that last minute int...

No I thought Kelly was a really good QB. But their offense was built around what he and Thurman Thomas did well. My question was if we are not going to go to a Shotgun/no huddle offense (which I have not heard ANYTHING about) then lets move on. Berlin has not showed anything under center. Even in college at UM and even with Spurrier coaching him... he has only looked good in shotgun. IF he could translate that success to under center I'd be all for him, but if two pretty good QB systems like UM and UF could not do it... I don't think he ever will.
wasn't alex smith a shotgun qb ?

Love after 2 games.. the Berlin bandwagon...

brock really doesn't even need shotgun, it's the spread offense and the reduced reads that come along with it that make him effective. he isn't an i-formation qb, and coker's dumbarse never figured that out, but an offense tailored to his style could work. i don't think brock will ever be a regular starter for us, but he could be a good backup/spot starter imo.

i dont think he'll be starting this year at all, especially with frerotte just coming in. ive always supported berlin since he came to the U. it was funny cuz my dad left after the score got high, but i kept watching. every time berlin made a great play or scored a TD, i ran throughout house screaming, "TOUCHDOWN FOR MIAMI!!!!!!!!!!!". and to eric honduras, not everyone who likes berlin, likes him after doing good, more like after two years of playing for the canes and performing under the pressure of a tough fan base, and having to follow ken dorsey who led the canes to a national championship.

Brock Berlin went undeafeted all 4 years of high school if anybody cares

all you Berlin haters should realize that he has potential and alot of players do better in the NFL then they did in college for some reason

Thanks for nothing.
My Gator heart is still broken from that PoS coaching performance.
