im leaning towards thompson now...he's made some clutch grabs and had a good game last night. i know gilmore plays special teams and has more speed for a vertical passing game, but derrius has the size like an orande gadsden to go up and make grabs...

keep Thompson, cut Gilmore. we would have Chambers, Booker, Boston, Thompson and Welker

Gilmore has been way more consistent than DT all preseason long. Why would you penalize him just cause DT had a good game against the scrubs?

I voted to keep them both. However, in order to do that, another position must suffer. I think we only need to keep 1 FB though (Evans). So, maybe we can make room that way.

Yes it's stupid to cut Gilmore in a offense like this. I don't like having possession receivers galore. Keep Gilmore over Thompson...

I say keep Gillmore... Thompson had his chances over and over again. A few preseason grabs isn't gonna change my mind about him.

Gilmore, without question. I'm confident Saban will concur, regardless of Thompson's antics last night. Gilmore is more fluid, more versatile, better routes, more consistent, makes better adjustments to the ball and IMO is simply more dependable. For every game like last night in which Thompson looks like a younger and faster Oronde, he'll throw in a half dozen games when the team would be better off if he were selling beer.

why not both? 6 WRs i not unheard of, especially since one is you main return guy.

Gilmore's my pick. More speed and just more of a threat imo.

I say keep Gilmore. I just think he has more potential and Thompson has been too inconsistent. But it is a nice problem to have to choose between the two (if both indeed aren't kept) because either one would probably be one of the best #4 WRs in the NFL.

Gilmore. Thompson has been to much of a choke and has drooped too many.
