Thoughts On This Play By Tua - Is The Commentator Right?

I have no doubt that from that point on the field Tua could throw it out of the end zone if he wanted. That wasn’t the discussion, it was about could he have placed it better? The all-22 on that play shows the safety that comes on at the end taking a hard angle so I don’t think Reek would’ve scored.

This forum used to be banter back forth about different point view. Now its 5th gradeay ground bickering
I’m literally trying to have a back and forth discussion and you are the one who’s not staying on topic…this could be a legitimate debate

If you can't see through the sheer curtain of original post and why it was started i can't help you

Go back and look at every thread he’s made and you would know why.

Go back and see his month long Tua thread fest and get back to me.

Safety right there over the top. Could the ball have been place a little better? Sure, but it's not an example of a pass that makes Tua "good", but not "great". If anything, it is a positive example of a pass from Tua. If he doesn't place the ball between the CB and S, the ball is intercepted.

Ya prob Def should have been better ball. But I seen that happen to even the big strong arm qbs. But I remember this throw and it shoulda been better ball for td I think without watch all 22

so theres a good yt channel called qbschoool.. now this guy knows his stuff.

he himself goes over games and has several Tua videos, in this he points to throws that Tua over throws tyreek and waddle, hell big ones i can remember is in jags startin game last year.

now what he says, and tbh i believe it, alot of the time from way Tua throws it.. he dilberatly tends to under throw rather then over throw and he breaks down the logic, and it makes sense.
and the easiest logic is an over thrown pass is uncatchable, a wr cannot suddenly gain more speed when he is already running flat out.. so its an uncatchable ball, or also leads to ints from saftys(ala josh allen til this year when he was clearly neutered by coaching staff in his long ball plays(you can check the stats and see this btw). HOWEVER an underthrown ball a wr can do what you see tyreek do here and in the mahomes one also linked, he has a chance to come back and make a play.. this weak arm narrative is over done.. as said theres literal footage of him over throwing hill and waddle.

as for the guys analysis , he is clueless one as stated you CLEARLY see the safty over the top.. so if he over throws its a turn over if he lands it on the money he is instantly hit by said safty and gains 2-3 yards more. in the end this entire analysis is based on a what if, here I feel the throw made was the safe choice to stop the turn over in hope to get another crack at it on the next down. but to state the weak arm narrative is boring, sure he cannot cannon it like allen or herbert, but then tbh they throw like a man playin fetch with a dog, they don't aim they just launch it which is why they both produce massive amounts of ints, orrrr contiuniously over throw wide open recievers.

I am all for callin Tua out on things he doesnt do well, like being smart with sliding, or fact he is an injury liablity BUT calling him out on his ability to throw the rock ain't it
