It clearly says that only a few hundred are being released and the game will be a sell out.

Won't have that problem in a couple years though. After the remodeling the stadium will have a capacity of 65,000.

I've heard the Media declare sell outs before and saw tons of empty seats. It's just that the Media decides to show the stadium when it's empty but about mid 1st qtr you won't see a shot of the stadium when everyone is seated. Acoustics matter a lot, my friend. When you have 65,000 people in a stadium designed to be loud, they will make more noise than 70,000 people in a stadium that is not designed to be loud. This is what we saw with the Orange Bowl, and with the new stadium the Seahawks have, for instance.

I do not know if the roof covering will make things louder or quieter within Sun Life, as I am not an expert in that sort of design, but it's possible that it will make things louder inside the stadium.

That was an awesome time to be a dolphin fan. Never since they moved north has the team had that kind of support. The old OB was a special place. I wish there was a way to build something closer to Miami. Thanks for the memories.

Why? The trade off is that the fans are moved closer to the field and a roof is installed. Both in combination enhanced crowd noise.

Seattle's stadium holds only 67,000.

Sun Life is currently the 7th largest stadium. 16 Stadiums are 70k or less. It was pretty clear that with moving the fans closer to the field and a roof addition that capacity will be sacrificed.
