Tim Hasselbeck on Chad Henne....

One of my favorites from last season was when we ran the ball down the Ravens throat on our 1st drive of the game, then didn't run the ball most of the 1st half after that! Henning LMAO!!

Its true, Henne can make the throws, but when he does he always makes that 1 mistake.. Henne and this offense would drive down the field and always stall.. A lot of it has to do with the play-calling too. How many times did we see Henning call a play with 1 WR out to pass, or a 2-11 draw, or something like that..

Henne has the physical tools to be a good QB, the mental part of his game needs work, and his timing with his WRs.

this is where the attack style should arrive. i hope they mean attack the goaline.

I still say Henne has the talent, but his head is what worries me. He is even-keeled. Not a real leadership trait. In one sense yes, but another maybe not. I see Henne doing much better this year as long as he is not in a hole from special teams and turnover blunders. His receivers dropped alot of balls last year that were right in their guts. Even when off, good receivers should still catch the ball when they can get their hands on it aside from being thrown behind them.

Henne to me is a half second behind sometimes even on the quick throws. I am hoping daboll gives him alot of 3 step and 1 step stuff dumping efective screens to bess and bush to make the defense honest. too many teams knew to meet henne at the 7 step drop spot. HENNE HAS TO GET THAT BALL OUT AS RECIVER IS TURNING. In other words, the ball is there marino style.

Didn't Tim Hasselbeck set a record for incompletions?

Not that I'm defending Henne.

I support Henne, he's got the size and arm strength...I just dont like that last year it looked like he was scared to take a risk and toss the ball deep or over the middle. Hopefully a new Offensive system will give him the ability to us his god given skills. He's only had 1 season to start and we went 7-9 and were in some close games. Lets face the fact..not too many elite QB's come around the league very often..instead of waiting for another "dan marino" to get drafted lets build a team with depth and play smart ball. If henne starts building some confidence by having risk turn into rewards we'll be a lot better of team than most think..but first henne has to get the ball to our WR further than 6 yards from the line of scrimmage.

Every time I hear Tim Hasselbeck's name I think of this and smile

That was the first Dolphin game I attended in Miami. I remember of Ricky Williams' last touchdown run, he was looking around and almost couldn't believe that there was no Redskin in sight once he got past the line of scrimmage.

The other thing I remember about that night was that after the game, my ex-wife and I couldn't remember for the the lives of us where we parked. We wound up walking around for about an hour until we found our rental car. At least it gave us a chance to walk off some of the nachos we ate that night.
