Time to Question the leadership in the Ravens' locker room

Aldon Smith gets arrested for felonies, no big deal. It happens.

Ray Rice beats up his girlfriend, no big deal. It happens.

Jacoby Jones, Jimmy Smith, and Bernard Pierce are so drunk they get thrown out of a bar, no big deal. It happens.

Lorenzo Taliaferro gets arrested for destroying public property and being drunk in public, no big deal. It happens.

Mike Pouncey says some things to Jonathan Martin that hurts his feelings, OUTRAGE!!!! Worst thing ever, suspend him and make him take a mental exam so we can assure ourselves something as horrible as this never happens again!

Yea....but I bet none of those guys used the N word..so...no problem!

when teams win they get the benefit of the doubt. a Pats player likely murdered someone(actually multiple people) and no one questions the Pats.

Sad, but that seems to be the case. Manziel goes to Vegas and the world flips out on him and the Browns. Gronk was there with him, but nothing said about that or the Patriots.

Come on media what are you waiting for? Oh wait, Martin being a soft b*tch is clearly means the Fins locker room is more void of leaders.

So you're whining about a lack of media attention by citing a media source that's giving the story attention. Makes sense.

I got you a shirt...

It'll probably pass thru ESPNs little scroll on the bottom once or twice...maybe get a 1 or 2 minute slight mention on NFL Live if they feel like making a story of it.

Junc has it right. Win, and the narrative disappears. It doesn't help that Dolphins leadership appears hellbent on perpetuating it's perception of dysfunction at every turn.

If I were Ross, I would have hired the best PR person money could buy long ago... The Dolphins have a perception problem, and only an expert PR person or WINNING could fix it at this stage.

Probably because that horse was beaten dead when Gronk was taped dancing on his injured ankle a couple days after the SB.

Where was I was complaining about the lack of attention? I was complaining about how they SLANT the stories to fit an AGENDA and the blatant hypocrisy of the media.

Not sure what news programs you are watching, but I've seen those stories all over, particularly the first two. There are tons of articles blasting the 49ers for their handling of the Smith situation. If it was a Phins player, people would be whining about how the media has an "agenda" against the team (I'm sure some 49er fans are).

But I guess that doesn't fit the "everyone is against us" thing. What's funny is that the article in the OP is a Florio article, which is strange because I thought he only went after the Phins...

When you start off with this you certainly make it seem that you're complaining about a lack of attention to the story. But no matter the motivation, seeing Dolphin fans constantly whining about the media is embarrassing.

The only thing that sweeps away bad press is wins. Fortunately for the Harbaughs, they've had good seasons in recent years.

Anything the Dolphins do will be rendered a joke because people know, at the end of every season, we're hardly over a 9-7 team and not in the playoffs. It's why Dallas and Jerry Jones gets flak all the time too, even though they're a historically beloved team, "America's Team" -- no playoff wins means something in your organization is inept, and thus, your intentions, FO, coaches, players, and fans can and will be doubted.

Here's an article I just read on the Ray Rice press conference. The best part is the first comment below it, which sounds very familiar.

http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/9998/another-major-misstep-by-rice-rice

And the comment after:

Jamison, nothing that Rice did in this news conference would have been acceptable. Anything he said or did would have been picked apart by someone in the media. To say that he "never apologized to his wife" is also probably being nit picky, since I am sure he has apologized plenty in private, where such an apology belongs.

More telling from this news conference is who was in attendance to support Rice, her father. The fact that the father of the woman he is accused of hitting came to show support for him tells me that there is a lot more to this story than we know, and will likely ever know.
