Does it happen every single time, no, and it has happened to all teams at one time or another, but to think that right now the media does not rejoice or take special enjoyment in continuing to run with a dolphins story that puts them in a bad light to the point of exhaustion, is a good example or see, hear, or speak no evil.

Please take off the tinfoil. The "media" doesn't rejoice or take enjoyment in anything because it's not a living thing. The media simply provides information that is in demand. So really, it's your fault for continuing to read it and continuing to wring your fists at it, followed by posting links to it saying "can you believe what they wrote?!", which only allows it to continue and spread.

No problem there. Certainly people are always talking about how -- when you really get down to it, when you really analyze it -- we really won three or four more games last year than the scoreboard says we did... that we're actually a playoff team that just got unlucky so why shouldn't we be a playoff team this year too?

Which sort of explains why they bemoan not getting the benefit of the doubt. Surely the Dolphins -- playoff team that they are -- deserve it.
