They need henry to run strong to score those pts. They had those pts because of henry and good coarching. Tannehill's pass attempts have been fairly low, because it wasn't needed and he did enough to supplement henry's offense. A good team like ravens with that offense will force tannehill to score pts passing and shut down run game or score pts on titans to force it to be less of a ball control game and more point matching game. Tannehill is not that qb, Titans good coaching brought out best of him. But you saw how T hill can be good but why it's not a qb to go the long run. His stats for this game 8-15 for 72 yards passing. Not even 100 yards/ He made that key throw at end, but plenty of mistakes too. We've seen good plays from tannehill for miami but he is what he is. Don't forget Case Keenum had a strong run for Vikings a few years ago and in playoffs right? That happens sometimes, but then reality hits the following year or when the team is not running on all cylinders and the right mesh that makes an average qb do better than what they are.
Of course they'll need Henry to run effectively to have a chance to beat Baltimore, but you're not giving Tannehill enough credit. They were averaging 16 ppg with Mariota their first 6 games of the season, and that was with D. Henry running the football. When Ryan became the starter? That changed to 30 ppg. HUGE difference.

Fact is Tannehill needs to play better, WAY better than he did last night, for the Titans to have a shot. Especially if they neutralize Henry as they probably will. But I don't think it's fair to say that offense was 100% Henry all the time. Ryan had a huge role in elevating their production, along with their rookie WR AJ Brown who was phenomenal.

It means how much Mariota sucked and how much Mariota was holding back the titans offense. It just needed a "decent " qb to do some more and that would supplement with henry to score more points. Qbs can get hot and look better than they are. Tannehill is what he is. He's got quite the talent around him, but he's also protected too and got points or that average from big time rushing attack. Getting close to the endzone often from the strong running game helps with that. Ravens are a team that can get a team in a hole fast and titans don't have a qb that could start bringing them back. Remember Case keenum had the Vikings make a run in the playoffs a few years ago. Mark Sanchez for crying out lead had the Jets to two afc conference championship games. The titans defense will have to play lights out in order to make this game in range the run game to continue, which would allow T hill to try to manage the game. This has to be a low scoring game for Titans to have a chance and that's because of tannehill. He doesn't have the passing ability or arsenal to contend with jackson. At some point there will be pressure for tannehill to carry some of the load on the offense because of the pts Ravens score that such toll wasn't on tannehill because patriots couldn't score more than 13 points

Any offense will struggle against the top team in the conference, on the road, if it becomes one dimensional, that's not just relevant to Tannehill and the Titans.

Fact is you will never credit Tannehill for the kind of season he's had and the way he led the Titans turnaround, so let's just agree to disagree here.

Lmao, he's not the only one...

Not everyone gets football/talent.
