Either way they're screwed.

They said back when it happened that the NFL had additional footage and it was used to help determine the punishment. If that's true they look awful.

So right now either the NFL lied about seeing footage (or are lying now) or Roger Goddell truly screwed up (which he did either way).

And again not to bring it up, but stuff like this makes it criminal that he's made everybody that bullied Martin get tested mentally before being allowed to play again while he's only making Rice serve a 2 game suspension.
 
Nfl trying to play the "out of sigh out of mind game". They most likely saw this video too, but turned a blind eye. Or they knew the casino or they could obtain this video and it was there. They didn't want to look at it, which is ridiculous. On Espn they were saying the NFl knew about this video and either saw it and ignored it or chose not to watch it.
 
Goddell and Rice are getting KILLED by both current and former players on twitter

Also I wonder if ESPN's "journalists" will ask Rice's teammates their feelings about sharing a locker room with a sociopathic domestic abuser. I wonder if Ray Rice is a "distraction." What are his showering habits? If Michael Sam almost lost out on his dream of playing pro ball because he is gay and the media couldn't handle it, what about the circus or distraction that should always be attached to Ray Rice now.
 
For everyone saying Rice should be suspended for the year, i can't help but wonder if this is why the NFL quickly altered their rules on domestic abuse.

As per the current rules, Rice can't be suspended for more than 6 games, next suspension is lifetime ban. Did the NFL know this tape was eventually going to come out and put these new rules in place to avoid year long suspensions?

Love that Goodell is getting destroyed over this. Get rid of him now.
