Boy, Lucas better use this two weeks wisely. He came out way too high mentally. He was locking in on his first reads, double-clutching and throwing into guys that were blanketed when he had room to run the ball upfield for easy yardage. If he wasn't throwing the ball 10 yards over the recievers heads he was gunning the ball at their feet. He showed no touch and bottom line he choked ,paniced and cost us the game single handedly. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see him bouncing back. I think we're in big trouble. All of a sudden were finding out our back-up quarterback can't play, can't do it when called upon. This is a major rude awakening for the team. If the guy is this terrible against Buffalo how is he going to fare at Green Bay. I think we should find someone else. Theres got to be a veteran that can lead the team until Jay gets back. I hate to give up on a guy based on one game but the mistakes were both mental and physical. No one will be more overjoyed to be wrong but I've never seen worse. We needed him so bad to come in and not hurt us and the guy just imploded. This loss really hurts bad because the D did their job, Minor gave us good field position all day but Lucas managed to put the knife in our hearts all by himself. I blame Wanny for not pulling him after 3 picks. Wasn't it apparant that it wasn't his day? Could Sage have done Worse? I couldn't have done worse. Brutal, we could have been 6-1 so easily. Now what? PLEASE JAY GET BACK IN THERE!!
