I would trade up for either player, Kelly doesnt follow that philosophy.I don't know if he was going to take him with that pick but Im sure anytime you have a player you have coached for years and he is a draft consideration there is emotional involvement.
I mean if he is there and you pass on him, some people assume u didn't feel he was that good when you may have had to make a difficult choice and choose the other guy. He may have very well wanted to take him, I don't know and I have stated that. The price was not high in my opinion if he thought he was a cant miss player. I trade that third all day if Im convinced that Jordan is the next Jason taylor.

As far the Jordan pick went, as I remember, the Dolphins waited for most of the 15 minutes and turned the card in at the last second. IMO, the Eagles gambled(pun intended) that the Dolphins wouldn't move up. Having Johnson, a tackle that fit their scheme, as a fallback helped
