Did you see the difference in those two owners during the lock out?


Kraft was one of the key players, Ross was hanging out with that idiot from Arkansas.

I think Tony knows this year is his last here no matter what happens. When Ross brings his old pal from KC next year I will officially stop being a Dolfan until he sells the team.

It sucks because it really hurts our home field advantage not playing in the heat.
 
The heat is a nice advantage...if we aren't gonna play in it, they might as well practice in the bubble all offseason.
Lame to consider fan comfort over a home field advantage. Heck, the heat is about the only advantage of playing at home...certainly not the menacing crowd.
 
This is what happens when you have out of town owners take control of your team
they don't know the people dynamics of the area they don't know the advantages of the heat.
Heck Ross maybe feels uncomfortable with the heat
and his buddies and his wife's cat hyperventilated from heat stroke
so that's why he insisted to god-dell to give more night games..

This maybe the biggest blunder Ross has ever made..

I agree too. I wish we'd embrace our huge climate advantage again. I love going to early games. I remember one of the first games I went to, we were playing the Falcons and they were all in black away unis. They all looked like they were about to die. It was awesome. Born and bred Miami fans are used to it. It keeps away the ***** out of towners.

That would be a great stat if it was true. The Patriots have won the last two 1pm road games in Miami in 2003 and 2007.

Think how the Buffalo Bills used their rugged home field advantage in the 90's to secure wins. The wind, snow, sleet, rain and freezing weather was brutal to watch games in. However, they had a winning product and the fans showed in that crap to watch their team.

I like the moxy Tony has been displaying lately. Called out the fans twice and now the owner.

The 1 pm game in Sep was a huge advantage. Northern teams would be gassed going into the 4th.

Yeah 07 Didn't really matter where Miami played, they where god awful that season. The win in 03 by the Patriots was their first ever in such conditions and Belichick was exuberant throwing his headset and papers in the air as if to say "FINALLY!" Miami is 13-2 vs NE at home in SEP/OCT nuff said.
 
Ross' problem is that he is a know it all. Think how he could have endeared himself to fans by simply asking for fan submissions on certain issues ie fight song, celebrity owners, game times, etc.
