Ok. For the 6 of you that still liked this clown, how the hell is it even possible to defend this dude after today? Seriously?
1. Splendid pass protection today. Any minute I was expecting a body part to go flying off Henne. Im so ****ing glad we have a coach whos specialty is O-Line. Maybe he could, you know, fix it? Or know how to pick up a good player? Maybe? Youd think so anyway. But Apparently we have to draft 5 OL in the first round because Sparano and our FO have NO idea how to evaluate and/or develop line talent. Jesus wept. Im going to start sacrificing chickens soon because Ive tried damn near every other supernatural method to try help that sorry excuse for a player Columbo. I hope youre reading this you bum. And I hope you know that when Henritta's blood is spilled next week, its on you.
2. OK, let talk about the obvious play that ended the game. Here we are, down 10, 4th and 1 with like 4:00 left. We are not in FG range. CLEARLY you go for it. Even if the D gets a 3 and out, you are going to be VERY hard pressed to score twice. That ****ing obvious. You punt the call away its damn near conceding the game, especially with how our defense was playing. So as you can see, its dumb to punt here. But does that idiot coach punt? Nope. YES!. No...wait...he did something EVEN STUPIDER. He never ceases to amaze. Instead we line up to try forse an offsides (LOL yeah right) and run the playclock down to 1...and call a TO. Thats right folks. The thing we absolutely needed if we decided to punt, he wastes while in the process of deciding to punt. Un. ****ing. Believable. Words cant even describe. Of course, we punt and go on to give up a few first downs and lose the game because we dont have enough time. SHOCKER! Who couldnt predicted.
This team has too much talent to be continually hamstrung by this HC. We really do have talent. Especially on offense. But guess what...with Sparano managing the clock and making crucial in-game choices, we will NEVER win anything of significance. Good teams will eat that alive. We were still in the game if Tony goes for it today. If we score on that drive, the pressure id on the Texans. We only need a stop and a FG to send it to OT.We'll never know though because our coach conceded the game.
