top 3 TE in Dolphin history??

1. Keith Jackson by far
2. Jim Mandich
3. Bruce Hardy (so underrated - could block when we were a running team and could catch and score when we were a passing team)
4. Joe Rose
5. Ferrel Edmonds
6. Charles Clay
7. Randy McMichael
8. Dan Johnson
9. Eric Green

Not putting Crash Jensen in there because it's debatable what he was! He was awesome at everything but I'm not sure to pigeon-hole him as a TE is right. However, if we must I'd put him no 2 after Jackson based on all-round contribution.

This.

Its crazy I have been a fan of the dolphins for over 30 years I can't remember if we ever took a te before the 3rd round ever .
With that said my top 3 TE to play for us are as follows.
1.McMichael
2.Byers
3.Clay
Then Fasano had a few good years as well.
Why have we not invested in a high draft pick for a TE?

No offense but this is a bad list for too many reasons. Clay was not the third best te we ever had and Byers was not a TE

I always said Clay was a Byers v2.0 .

Keith Jackson easy #1 in my book. Randy McMichael #2 and Charles Clay #3.

Johnny Mithcell was never a dolphin and Keller never played past the preseason. Eric Green played one season for us and only had 43 receptions
i think he was being sarcastic :).

The thing I remember about McMichael is way too many plays missed and penalty's made. A ton of talent wasted, IMHO.

While I agree some of the older TE's were definitely impact players, they couldn't hold the jock straps of today's talent.

no love for troy drayton? he's in my top 3 - vastly underrated. look at some of the old tape if you have a chance on youtube from his era.
