Top 5 keepers?

Here is my top 3 players to be traded. It needs to be done NOW but will not be.

If we want any hope of drafting QB A Luck or L Jones then we need extra draft picks.

I'd start with NT P Soliai.

I'd add Brandon Marshall

And then even Jake Long.

That is $30 Million right there plus enough extra draft picks to be able to move to get whichever QB we want.

A 2 down NT, a WR that drops TDs and a "All Pro" LT all together will not help us as much as a All Pro QB will.

1.Dansby
2.Davis
3.Long
4.Pouncey
5.Wake
I would also keep Langford, Marshall, Odrick, Smith, Starks, Thomas; Unless Langford demands too much money and we can get a good deal for Marshall.

1) Brandon Marshall
2) Jake Long
3) Daniel Thomas
4) Davone Bess
5) Mike Pouncey

Cam Wake is on notice - he needs to learn a couple new pass rushing moves if he wants to stay in the league let alone the Dolphins
Vontae Davis is also on notice

1. Long
2. Pouncey
3. Thomas
4. Odrick
5. Davis

Those are the guys I see us keeping regardless of any circumstances. I left off guys like Starks, Wake, etc because they could end up being traded, as they should be if the new FO sees this being more than a 3 year rebuilding project (I want the FO to be up front about that, not like this one, where a 3 year rebuild turned into a indefinite rebuild).

1. Long
2. Pouncey
3. Dansby
4. Wake
5. Vontae

Odrick, Langford, Starks, Bess are close behind. Then Smith, Fields, DT, and maybe Jones. But then that's about it. The other 40 players are pretty much expendable. Which is scary.

Jones is the first person I would cut. I would keep Pat Devlin over him. Hell I would keep Jason Taylor at the age of 50 over him.

My five keepers are:
Jake Long
Davone Bess
Brandon Marshall
Mike Pouncey
Cameron Wake
Everyone else would be on the the trading block for draft picks. I am serious about that. They need to start trading the dead weight, and stop bringing back Jason Taylor for nostalgic reasons. He is washed up. Let him hang out with all of the other over the hill ex-players on CBS, ESPN, or Fox.

Another one of these lists and not a single mention of Reggie Bush? Give me him, Long, Pouncey, Davis and Thomas

I find it real tough to find 5.

But here's goes!

1) Long
2) Soliai
3) Bess
4) Fields
5) Davis

These are all a matter of opinion mind you. Not that they matter.

How can I forget Mr.Bess lol I would also keep him and even Bush if he will be used correctly; Give him a few carries a game and have him return kicks, its not like our team would get any worse if hes was to (god forbid) get injured. The Eagles use/used D.Jackson to return kicks, I think we can use Bush.

a punter a keeper...thats when you know you don't really have 5 must keep players...

1. Pouncey
2. Long
3. Fields
4. Thomas
5. Bess

Three for on field performance (Long, Fields, Bess). Two for future potential (Pouncey and Thomas). That is it.

Id say there is only 3.
1. Long
2. Pouncey
3. Daniels

Marshall is inconsistent and too much of a diva, Dansby has looked worst then Crowder in coverage this season, and Burnett cant tackle anything. Our whole Dline sucks and oline as well (besides 2 mentioned above). Bess might be another player to add to the list since he is always giving it his all, and for a slow slot WR he is really good. Bush might be a good weapon to keep but not at his current salary, and if the new HC/ OC uses him correctly. Davis is solid, but not a "Keeper" and Smith belongs in the AFL. Bell is great but getting older and slower. Jones and Clemmons are nothing to desire, but would be good back ups. Hartline is a good #4, and its sad that he is our starting WR opposite from Marshall. Nothing against Hartline he is a great WR but he is nothing great and does not put any fear into any CB or D.
