Trade down or Trade up?

Trade down get a extra 2nd or third get moses front virgina

I have a feeling because the draft is so deep, teams won't be able to get the kinds of deals for trading down that they did in previous drafts. I think fewer teams than usual will be wanting to trade up, thus decreasing the demand and lowering the price.

Exactly what I was getting at. It's hard to trade down when everyone else is trading down. You will not get the value you should get. Since that is the case, consider trading up. It will cost less this year to go up than any other year. I don't just mean round one, but two, three, whatever...

This is one of the deepest drafts in recent memory. I HOPE we DO trade down. This is a great draft to have as many picks as possible in. It would be nice to be set up as well this year as we were last because it would have given us more ammo to move around.

I think trading up would be a huge mistake in a deep draft even if we can move up for a bargain rate. If we're moving up just a spot or two and getting someone we really covet, then I can see giving up a 7th, but short of that, I want as many picks as I can get in this draft. I really don't want to give any away if I can help it. I think teams are going to find more golden nuggets than usual in late rounds (4,5,6) and I don't want to see us minimize our chances to be one of those teams.

I'm all for trading down but kind of on the fence about it. While we can trade down from #19, we'll most likely miss out on Mosley/Shazier(No LB's left in the draft with the same talent) if they're available and Moses would be the pick, which I would have no problem with. San Fran would be an ideal trade partner in that case, hopefully #61(2nd), #94(3rd), and #170(5th).

If Martin, Lewan and Ebron are all off the board then you have to try to trade down into the 20's. Pick up an extra 2nd.

Trade down if Mosley, Ebron, or Martin is gone, do not trade up under any circumstances

Unless Mosely is there trade down to #26 with Cleveland. Cleveland wants to draft Derek Carr QB before Arizona does at #20.

That's a reasonable scenario. Also the 49ers with all the picks that they have may be willing to trade up with us for someone they really like. I would love any of those 2 scenarios.

Do not trade up! ILB/Mosley @ #19 1n the second to grab ILB/Borland. 3rd take G/Gabe Jackson. the 4th DT/Daniel McCullers and the 5th RB/ Andre Williams,6th BPA OT/G 7th BPA OT/G

Stay put for a game changing type playmaker (wishful thinking at pick 19, I know), if not trade down for the extra pick.

Why does everyone want to trade down! Let's trade up and get good players! I would rather get 1 all-pro rather than 2-3 back ups? Wouldn't you?

Teams like to trade down to gain more picks, they are overconfident in their own drafting. Rams was able to accumulate quite a few picks over the year, but their drafting records are nothing to be pround of. One reason to consider the lower picks certainly carries more risk than higher picks.
