I am a golden god
I would give them Tannehill for a 2nd rounder and Shawn Hill.
Well thats because you're not that bright.

Sorry. But anybody who doesn't think a backup QB can win g a mes to get to a super bowl should just think back to 1972 ! Anybody remember a guy named Earl Morrall without him the undeafeated season may never have happened! Shula never tanked a season just because his starting guy went down he just played the game to their strengths! And I am confident that Moore could win us games!
he has got enough left to still have been their backup already. he has always kept a job.
I mean seriously u have Shaun hill who knows the system and is a proven backup, would u really trade for a backup who has been no better as a starter than the guy u have.
That's not news, that's an opinion. I happen to think your dog and pony dance for attention is played out. You offer slanted opinions in a matter of fact Like tone with nothing to support them but more opinions. It's tired. Id trade you to the gang green for a couple of Jets fans, at least those trolls' agendas would would be clear. Fortunately Finheaven has an ignore feature that I will time now place on your screen name. Unfortunately its taken longer than I would have liked to realize that despite the time you've spent here, and despite your post count, you contribute no credible nor meaningful substance to this or any discussion.
Also, WV is easily the worst state ive ever spent any time in. Just terrible.
Listen, we have had a DECADE of "almost" because of the mentality to trot out mediocre crap to struggle to win a few games. You, along with everyone else on this forum, would trade in all those Matt Moore-won games from 2011 that noone even remembers any more for the opportunity to have Andrew Luck leading the team for a decade.
It's actually not a loser attitude, its a winner attitude - sometimes you need to endure the worst to gain strength and succeed.
If the starter goes down, the season is already lost - no need to put lipstick on a pig and jeopardize the future. That being said, I understand the coaches and players won't think this way, and SHOULDN'T think this same way, its just as a fan I'd rather tank after a season ending injury to the starting QB than spin our wheels with a backup for nothing substantial.
I am not sure he is even an upgrade.
I really don't understand the hatred for a backup QB who has done nothing but being a top notch team member.
Nobody will thankfully tank a season nor should they.
A fan with small investment. It would be a totally different ball game for you if you'd be a season ticket holder and spend several thousand dollars/year plus countless hours tailgating.
Here is the thing what you don't understand. The Dolphins know the value of Moore and that he is perfectly capable of continuing on. That is why he is paid so much. His first three losses in 2011 are explained of being
a) the new guy in town
b) Henne got all the snaps with the first teamers
Moore is now three years with the Dolphins and even if we would go 0-4 like we did in 2011 and Tannehill would get hurt I doubt that we would be sitting at 0-7 before more gets a grasp on the offense.

The Irsay family would like a word with you.
Completely different scenario. The 72 team was one that was built around an elite run game and great defense. The current Dolphins don't even have a running game to speak of, and is designed to be a spread, QB-focused offense. Few even believe this team is Super Bowl caliber WITH the starting QB, much less the backup.
As a fan, I don't mind watching the games knowing they will lose if there is some expectation of big reward at the end. I watched each and every game in 2007. It was almost a relief, because I wasn't so stressed that year watching games because I knew there wasn't any playoff (false) hopes.
I don't hate Moore at all. I like him, I think he is a great backup. But if the Rams came to us offering a 3rd, I'd dump him in a second. In the end, the backup QB isn't all that important unless you are starting the season as a bonified Super Bowl contender, which we assuredly are not. If the starter goes down, all Matt Moore could accomplish for this team is to spin our wheels. We will NOT win a super bowl with Moore at QB and it also wouldn't do anything for our future.

Jim Irsay will never admit to tanking the season but he probably did. In addition to Peyton Manning's departure, Colts GM, Bill Polian was also given his marching orders. The truth may never come out because Polian is a gentleman, but Irsay saw an opportunity to get Luck and I guess he just got lucky, again.
