The excuses are piling up. This is so ryan tannehillesk its scary.
He did not "like him". He loved him. Called Ryan a "rock star"...

Trent Dilfer loved Ryan Tannehill. Probably still does.
*watches heads explode*
TrueDilfer is a very bright football mind that I respect!
He does have a ring!
But its trent dilfer!
Average superbowl winning QB!!!Yes how could an average NFL QB know more than us?
Im not sure if I believe in Ryan's presnap, but I obviously agree with off time. Speaking of off time, its exactly why I would of rather not have traded for Rosen too. The idea that Rosen just hasnt tapped into that yet and he has some Rodgers in him is ridiculous IMO.When you look at Ryan's physical tools, his intellect and his presnap, he had the making of being a Rock Star player, the problem was, he could never function off script.
What's odd is the posters in here that have never watched Tua play yet bash him constantly - confess their undying admiration and loyalty to Trent Dilfer's wisdom. Posters who said Tannehill was going to be a superstar after he was drafted, bumping my thread after game to tell me what a stud Tannehill was going to be - now proclaiming drafting Tannehill in the 1st round was a mistake.
You poor SOB's have to be dizzy at this point. Dilfer has always liked Tua better than Rosen.
It depends how long the ride is! And if the coaster is old and bumpy or new and smooth.I don’t get the constant attempts by some to suggest every QB not named Tua is Ryan Tannehill
2.0?
I get some of you had your hearts set on 0-16 and getting the #1 overall.....with perceptions that Tua is a can’t miss prospect, even though he had the collegiate advantage of leading a team superior to almost every team he faced by a wide margin....until of course they got crushed by Clemson and Tua actually looked inferior to a freshman named Lawrence.
Most of us just want a franchise QB... wherever we can get one.
Clearly Josh Rosen was a much more polished and experienced QB entering the NFL than Ryan Tannehill... and the mistakes made in drafting Tannehill in the 1st round are clear now.
Rosen is going to get a shot to be the franchise QB before Miami drafts another top prospect...so why not support him and enjoy the ride?
