Trent Edwards turned down Dolphins

Total bogus argument.

I love what I do for a living and I've been offered positions with companies but after the interview process, it just wasn't right for me.

Never settle in life.

These washed up scrubs turning down an opportunity to play here speaks volumes about our front office and the franchise in general.
It sure does.

The excuses on this thread are priceless! I have been saying for a year players don't want to play in this 3 Ring Circus!

I can't see us winning more than 3 games with Edwards, too bad. Rosenfels could win us 4-5 an put us out of reach for Luck. Probably why Ireland contacted those losers to start with, just to keep losing.

Ugh. Whether this is just an issue of guaranteed money (though Trent Edwards isn't going to be that choosey) or what not, I really think our FO is reviled. They stink of failure. No one wants to come near our organization. It's so weird to see the Miami Dolphins, the once winningest and most respected team in football fall to this.

Maybe they have seen our offensive line and value their lives.

Never settle in life? You comparing turning down a job when you still have a job is a lot different than turning down a job when you dont have one. Besides, I think the media is making all this up anyway....why the hell would he come try out in the first place if he was going to deny the job?

Edwards played behind a ridiculously bad line in Buffalo. As much of a nightmare as Colombo is, this still isn't the worst line in the league. SF's line is terrible, but I doubt an unemployed Trent Edwards would turn down Harbaugh and that situation.
