You are mistaken about that one. Crowder was very quick fast and strong but too slow diagnosing plays to use his very obvious athletic prowess. If he could read plays like Zach Thomas then Crowder would have been in the hall of fame. As it was, he was always battling for his starting spot.
 
wheeler out..... MISI ,TRIPP, MCCAIN. TRIPP, MISI ,MCCAIN Should be good. im done with these 2 jokers. Misi busts his ass to get better and these fools just make more penalties.

He has one here. He really just needs to get stronger. An off season will help him. He has instincts and is smart. I don't see how he will not be a starter going into camp next year at the latest. Easily our best pick this year in my opinion.
 
Start him! He's 6'4", he runs a 4.5 forty, he's got something to prove, and he's all go all the time...i'm on board with it!!!

Not because of how good they are. I really don't have a clue about how good they are, but I do know the Dolphins coaching staff, and they hate starting rookies for some reason.

TRIPP the 2014 version of our Zach Thomas also a 5th rounder... Just dreaming of a stud LB anywhere close to ZT and for a fifth again wow what a payoff... Come on Tripp
 
Tripps not instinctual as zach Thomas...it's a nice wish I guess...I sense it's more about how bad our incumbent lbs are than it is how good Tripp really is right now...

But I'm all for giving him some preseason game run with the 1s...absolutely...McCain though needs to learn more to play off the Los and more reps before u give him anything more than specific package duty...

I think Jenkins will show up ugly in the run game if you promote him...

Would be sweet to have drafted a solid LB.
I have been hoping for them to give him more PT. Maybe the next 2 games.

You get flamed no matter what, is this case you were right about Tripp. He has a good shot. Ellerbee and Wheeler are playing the game not to get hurt.
Not saying that Tripp will be an All-Pro, but lets see what the rookie brings.
 
Not ready to give up on Misi just yet but its definitely the future position for Tripp to handle the middle. I can't fathom watching another season with Wheeler and his costly penalties and clueless instincts on the field again. I would rather pay him not to be on our team.
 
Tripp starting (and being good) would be absolutely huge for this team on so many levels.
