There is absolutely no reason to rush him. He's still less than a year removed from a serious injury and surgery.

good thing he didnt trip over that step walking in :-D if he looks healthy in pads between the whistles, i say **** it, play him when he beats out fitz.....unless our line is hot garbage of course. i dont want to david carr the kid

Good, but expected, news. The timeline for a full recovery was always around the start of training camp (if everything went as expected). The good news is he will have to beat out Fitzpatrick, so he should get time holding a clipboard to learn the game at the NFL level.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa passed his physical (hip) and will be able to practice without limitations.
Coach Brian Flores made this statement immediately after proclaiming the quarterback position was open for competition. Tua was unable to participate at the NFL Combine following hip surgery, and his claims that he would be healthy enough for training camp have been proven to be true. It will be difficult for any rookie quarterback not named Joe Burrow to start Week 1 due to the total lack of preseason games, but the team obviously believes the No. 5 overall pick will elevate their offense when ready.

We need better LB's
With no pre-season this year Tua absolutely needs to get on the field for some in game reps this year. I hope for him to be starting by week 8. Or at least week 12.
